Everybody Loves Raymond was the last purely organic sitcom ever created. It wasn’t forced, it didn’t go out of its way to offend people, it was just life as we know it. Phil is one of my favorite humans. God bless you. ❤️

I want a woman. But that’s a two way street. I can’t be the sole decision maker in that. So if I die looking for a woman, then no I wouldn’t want that but I can’t just change it so easily either. So essentially this advice doesn’t work for me.
@alecpoppenga5471
@alecpoppenga5471 4 жыл бұрын
@@TheEternalPheonix Maybe I’m projecting a little bit what you’re saying sounds possessive. Instead of saying “I want a woman” how about “I want to create a close connection with a woman.” Your beliefs shape how you do/get things. You are definitely right in that it’s a two way street but that doesn’t mean how you view/treat others doesn’t have an effect on the outcome. Wish you the best of luck with your quest mate.
@TheEternalPheonix
@TheEternalPheonix 4 жыл бұрын
@@alecpoppenga5471 Yeah, you definitely seem to be projecting and reading far too much into this. Also, how can I be possessive of someone who isn’t even in my life, and who I’ve never even met before?

I’m actually approaching, slowly, the level of professional philosopher, a job that no one told me existed and even if they did they told me it would take years of grad school and grinding work to get there and make a name for myself in academia. I didn’t want that kind of stress in my life. I didn’t want deadlines looming over my head waiting to chop it off. So now I’m doing what I love, philosophy, and posting it online, and you know what? I’m happy. Even if it’s never enough to support me, it’s worth it.

You inspired my oldest son to want to be a chef-whether he becomes one or not-in the end, I’m so happy that he felt that inspired by you and your show. All 4 of my kids, from 14 to 4, love watching. We all ooh and aah at the amazing foods, some foods we would have never even thought to eat, but we now find ourselves dying to try. These kids often surprise people at the wide variety of food that they not only eat, but LOVE to eat (while still managing to be picky about vegetables lol). We genuinely love the show and share it with family and friends all the time. Thank you for not giving up and for sharing the wonderful life advice! -someone who lives in one of the BBQ capitals of the U.S. 😉
