Why is KZbin better for my health than every doctor I’ve ever seen?
@Hveragerthi
@Hveragerthi Жыл бұрын
Doctors do tend to be idiots, but so is this lady. Cancer cells not only use glucose and fructose sugars as fuel sources, but also ketones that also promote cancer metastases, lactate, fatty acids and some amino acids. Therefore, cancer cells cannot be starved. And cutting out all sugar, even if it could be done will not make a difference. Furthermore, around 95% of cancers have origins from viral infections. To a lesser extent bacterial infections, mycotxins, radiation and in extremely rare cases parasites. Cutting out sugars do not address the causes of cancer either.

@@marcv2648 Fasting DOES NOT kill cancer cells. Cancer cells can use glucose (which is also produced by the body when blood glucose is low), fructose, ketones, lactate, fatty acids and some amino acids as fuel sources. Therefore, since they use various fuel sources including those produced by the body they cannot be starved. In addition, fasting has been shown to suppress thyroid function, which is why the metabolism slows down during periods of starvation. And hypothyroidism is known to increase levels of inflammatory homocysteine linked to the formation of cancer and heart disease.

Laetrile (amygdalin) does not cure cancer. The concept is supposed to be that the cyanide formed will kill the cancer cells while the healthy cells enzymatically break down the cyanide in to a harmless thiocyanate. The problem is that the healthy cells break down the the most of not all the small amounts of cyanide formed long before it can reach most cancer cells. This is one of the problems with testimonials. They tend to leave out many facts, such a other things the person did that actually do work. When people get a cancer diagnosis they often do multiple things such as changes in diet, supplements, etc. Then if they get cured they pick one thing to give credit to.

The truth about sugar and cancer has been out for a long time. But we don’t always get the proper information or assimilate that information into our diet and lifestyle because it means living a different lifestyle than most around us. It really takes getting a cancer diagnosis for many of us to be awakened to our diet habit and lifestyle. We are also surrounded by the unavailability of healthy foods and promotion of unhealthy foods. Being healthy is still our responsibility, and we ourselves have to do the hard work to fight misinformation, ingrained unhealthy lifestyle and diet choices. We can’t sit back and wait for Congress to pass laws to help us in this cancer fighting effort.

Thank you for sharing your work.

Lactic acid does not accumulate in the body. Any formed is immediately buffered to non-acidic lactate. Even with heavy exercise, it is a complete myth that the "burn" is due to a buildup of lactic acid. The burning sensation in the muscles during the exercise is from a buildup of hydrogen ions (protons). The muscle soreness afterward is due to microtears in the muscle tissue. Unfortunately, the lactic acid myth is so prevalent in our society and making things worse researchers often interchange the terms lactic acid and lactate even though they are not the same thing. Lactic acid as its name implies is an acid. Lactate is a non-acidic salt. It is also a myth that cancer cells rely solely on glycolysis. Both healthy cells and cancer cells use glycolysis followed by oxidative phosphorylation (OxPhos) for energy production, just in different ratios. Still, cancer cells are highly reliant on oxygen for survival and growth and actually have a higher affinity for available oxygen than healthy cells. Also keep in mind that cancer cells use glucose, fructose, ketones, lactate, fatty acids and some amino acids for energy sources, and some of these are generated by the body and so cancer cells cannot be starved. This video is very misleading on this point. Getting back to the anaerobic vs aerobic training this makes no difference. And cancer cells are not saturated in lactic acid. This is another long standing myth, that has led to a couple of variations of this myth such as the myth that cancer arises in acidity or cancer cells thrive in acidity. Cancer cells always arise in alkalinity, and cancer cells have an alkaline internal pH that is often more alkaline than healthy cells. The acidity myths arise from people not understanding cancer physiology and the localized acidity that can form during the very later stages of cancer growth. The reason for this is simple As I already mentioned both healthy cells and cancer cells use glycolysis followed by OxPhos for energy production. In the process, protons are formed that cause acidity that would kill healthy or cancer cells if they accumulate. Therefore, proton pumps of cancer cells export the protons out of the cells where they can be used, neutralized or eliminated from the body. This also helps to maintain the alkaline internal pH of all cells they need to survive. In fact, studies have shown that when the proton pumps of cancer cells are blocked, the cancer cells become acidic killing them. Cancer cells have a higher metabolism than healthy cells and thus generate more protons than healthy cells. As the tumor grows more protons are exported extracellularly, and there comes a point where the export of protons exceeds the body's rate to deal with them and they therefore accumulate leading to localized acidity around the tumor. This is also partially exacerbated by the irregular vasculature of malignant tumors, which makes proton reduction more difficult. My recommendation would be to look in to ozone therapy. Various medical studies on ozone therapy for cancer can be found on PubMed. I have been researching cancer and cancer therapies for over 40 years and I have never found anything more effective and safe for destroying cancer as ozone therapy. Ozone therapy selectively destroys cancer cells in a chain reaction without harming healthy cells through the production of mainly lipid peroxides that swell as burst cancer cells as they lack sufficient levels of antioxidant enzymes required to deal with the peroxide influx. Healthy cells contain sufficient levels of these enzymes and so are not adversely affected, and the ozone therapy increases levels of these enzymes (catalase and peroxidases) in the healthy cells. In addition, ozone therapy destroys cancer pathogens such as cancer viruses that are responsible for virtually all cancers. Even gliomas are viral induced cancers. Other advantages of ozone therapy are it increases levels of anticancer cytokines and superoxide dismutase, destroys many carcinogens through oxidation, as well as boosts the immune system. For glioma the ozone therapy can be done through ear insufflation. Studies have also reported that ozone therapy can significantly increase the efficacy of radiation therapy and many chemotherapy drugs since they are majorly inhibited by the hypoxic regions within tumors preventing the formation of the oxygen radicals needed to kill the cancer cells by these therapies. Ozone therapy reduces the hypoxia within the tumors. It is also the hypoxic regions that lead to radiation and chemo resistant tumors as the hypoxic cells survive these therapies. The cancer may be in "remission" after these therapies, but this is often temporary as the tumor has only been knocked back to non-detectable levels, but not eliminated. As the cells of the hypoxic regions grow back, the new irregular vasculature will create more hypoxic regions that are not responsive to the radiation or chemo. On the other hand, cancer cells cannot build up a tolerance to ozone.

Glucose levels are maintained by the endocrine pancreas, also in cancer patients - regardless of the glucose consumption of the tumor cells. I am sure she is aware of the Cori cycle; lactate is readily converted in glucose again at the cost of some ATP. The in vitro research she describes does not translate to the in vivo situation, unfortunately.

It will be like that till doctors and dieticians are educated on the harm refined sugar causes. It caused me great anguish when I saw what my son was fed, even through a tube in the hospital... a mix of milk products with sugars (with the vitamin-mineral blend) or-when I asked for a change to vegan-the milk products were substituted with a mix of inflammatory oils, though there was some plant protein added, too.

My uncle was recently in the hospital. He wasn't able to eat the food they served which resulted in him losing lots of weight(he already has a slim frame) and becoming weak. They gave him sugary protein drinks and as a result ended up on insulin. I've heard of a few surgeries in the US (I'm in Britain) where they prepare raw/vegan food for the patients. There's also a 7th Day Adventist hospital in Florida who are big on treating patients with a nutritious diet. One of my cousins went there for bowl cancer and got better but once out went back to bad habits and subsequently died.

Recent research has stated that for some type of cancer, the PET scan definitely give different results about sugar consumption. To me, pancreas cancer is a bad example of such a topic as I have seen some researches concluded that pancreas cells metabolise sugar very differently from other organ cells, which is the same situation for the pancreas cancer cells. In short, other types of cancer may not need as much sugar as pancreas cancer, but more dependent on protein intake.

I became a nurse bc my sister died from glioblastoma. On first impression in the hospital with her, I noticed the injustice in hospital food, which was packed full of chemicals, carbs, and sugar. I’ve tried to encourage hospitals to change their food with no success. Cost is their reason. As I travel the country working in different hospital systems, I recognize the problem is systemic. Doctors tell patients to eat more yogurt for lactobacillus, not realizing, yogurt is packed full of sugar, containing other unhealthy ingredients. A weak immunity leads to sickness, inflammatory responses,exacerbates with Sugar intake. Infection thrives on sugar. So why do hospitals contribute to provide liquid sugar in drinks and high carb diets in sedentary sick patients? Health care should practice healing nutrition, which would decrease time patient is hospitalized and decrease financial waste to our system. It’s the simplest things we do that impact the greatest change. If people sit behind desk and chase data, they will continue to wonder why they can’t fix their problems.

@@Hveragerthi you are correct. However, Excessive sugar consumption may potentially contribute to cancer through various mechanisms. High sugar intake can lead to insulin resistance and elevated insulin levels, which may stimulate cancer cell growth. Sugar can also promote inflammation in the body, creating an environment favorable for cancer development. Diets high in sugar often lead to obesity, a known risk factor for several types of cancer, and can encourage uncontrolled cell division. Additionally, high sugar intake may weaken the immune system's ability to combat cancer cells. While the relationship between sugar and cancer is complex and ongoing research is needed, reducing added sugar intake as part of a balanced, healthy diet is generally recommended for overall health and cancer risk reduction.
@Hveragerthi
@Hveragerthi Жыл бұрын
@@AwakenedVibration Actually, about 95% of cancers have been linked to viral infections. To a lesser extent bacteria, mycotoxins, radiation and in very rare cases from parasites. The insulin promoting cancer growth is true as cancer cells have a higher level of insulin receptors, which makes sense as the cancer cells have a higher metabolic rate and thus have a higher need for glucose as a fuel source. Stimulating growth though is not the same as causing the cancer. Also keep in mind that in some places they use insulin potentiation therapy to treat cancer. And there is more to your claim being overlooked anyway such as the fact that sugar can deplete magnesium and chromium, which leads to closing of insulin receptors, although these can also be replenished with diet and supplements, which is often the case. As for inflammation, again there is so much more involved with this than you realize such as the role of the adrenal glands in controlling inflammation and the various sources of inflammation outside of sugar such as elevated homocysteine levels or arachidonic acid levels from animal products. Also keep in mind that it is believed that inflammation increases the risk of cancer through increased free radical formation. On the other hand, are you aware that radiation therapy and many chemo drugs work on the principle of destroying cancer cells through the formation of free radicals? Same with ozone therapy and how the body itself destroys cancer cells when they can be detected. Many things are considered a risk factor, such as obesity. That does not make these a cause of cancer. And obesity has a number of causes. By the way, what is the cancer rate among sumo wrestlers? And proof that sugar can cause uncontrolled cell division? And yes, sugar can interfere with immunity. Do you know why? You are overlooking a very important point though .Cancer cells are RARELY ever detected by the immune system, even when the immune system is working properly. This is because cancer cells have means, such as HCG coatings, that allow the cancer cells to evade immune detection in almost all cases. This has been well known for decades. I have been aware of this fact from the science for over 40 years.

Watching this video i realised that majority food manufacturing industries absolutely don't care of their consumers health n are only concerned about making money so it's very important not to support them by not buying their products instead support only those products that have the best ingredients and are beneficial to health so people when you go to supermarket don't load your shopping carts with all the products that are sold be it candies,cakes,excess sugar carbonated drinks,sweeteners,synthetic multivitamin etc and make their business to flourish. The point is they are making a fortune by putting our lives at risk for which the govt is not going to do anything so we need to take care of ourselves by being aware of what to buy and what to completely avoid
