Neither of them are ideal, but if I were to look at history, it shows that Jace is far better off living with Barbara than Jenelle. Barbara has never served time in jail because she never broke the law, unlike her daughter, who's had many charges placed upon her over the years -- breaking and entering, probation violation, drug intoxication, assault and battery, and disturbing the peace. She keeps saying that she wants to clean up, but there's more to it than staying out of trouble. She keeps involving these men in her life -- Andrew, Kieffer, Gary, Nathan, and David. How many boyfriends does Jenelle need? Forget about the big boys, and focus on the little boys, because you haven't done that for the past 7 years. :p

Soph luckily Barbara won sole custody of Jace last year with jenelle only getting him every other weekend (Friday after school-Sunday afternoon) and then 2 weeks in the summer when schools out in addition with the every other weekend schedule. Thank goodness because Jace needs some stability.

He was recently arrested for violating a court order that forbids him from seeing his son. Babs might go about things the wrong way sometimes, but she cares for Jace and wants what is best for him. Would you be happy if your grandson (whom you have custody of) was left to play Grand Theft Auto (17+ game) while his mom and her violent BF were in the other room getting high/sleeping? The thing about these two they’re both too similar. They’re both hot headed that’s why they always clash. Jenelle wasn’t a good mum going out and partying when Jace was born and her drug use was unacceptable too. However. Now she has more children of her own who appear to be taken care of yet Barbara is still saying how Jace going back wouldn’t be okay. It’s frustrating to watch these two use this child as a weapon to hurt each other.
