Funny (not) how this murderous girl remembers how much she drank and that it was 8 lines of cocaine, but doesn't remember stabbing another young lady to death. This is so tragic and sad. My prayers and condolences to Samantha's family and friends. You are loved. Heather🇨🇦

When I was 15, I knew not to kill someone, Even though at 15 I was going through the hardest time of my life with my father passing, bullying, lack of supportive friends and issues with alcohol.. I was angry at life, but I never thought to kill someone, even in arguments with them. 15 year olds aren't stupid, they know right and wrong. This is a result of either bad parenting, mental illness or just pure craziness. I don't care how young you are, if you take someone else's life, you deserve to face the same consequences as an adult.

At 15 I was living in a very physically and emotionally abusive home. I was dealing with budding schizophrenia and tried to take away all the pain I was dealing with by drinking and doing any drug handed to me. Even while getting a beating from my father I didn't think about murder, just escape. The 15 year old in this case (I refuse to even acknowledge her name) knew exactly what she was doing and did it with intent. You don't walk into a fight with a weapon unless you plan on using it. I hope she rots in prison.

I totally agree! It’s just in some cases, such as mine, the way I was brought up didn’t help - whatsoever. 😞 I had turned to drugs etc, but I’m not 6 and a half years clean 🥰👊💛 But I definitely do & always will agree with what you said & it’s something I always stress to people that’s it’s not ALWAYS the way you were brought up. Tons of things can contribute! And again like you said, I know someone who has literally had everything “handed to him on a silver spoon”, and threw it all away for drugs and became heartless, JUST like you said. So I hate when he blames his BS & tries to say he’s like it because of his parents yet I know he was raised amazingly. Especially where I’m clean, I had to cut him out of my families life. 😞

@@jaggirl Sure...but not for long. Noticed how legal/justice systems across the globe favor the criminal ? Whatever the agenda is....it keeps the law-abiding tax paying citizen in a constant state of stress. Governments worldwide are corrupt power-hungry self serving filth, and the fact that they are catering to criminals clearly proves that THEIR vote outnumbers that of the ordinary law abiding tax paying citizen. Very worrying fact is that it proves there are more people prepared to vote for a Government pampering criminals than there are who vote for justice and fear of punishment. Maybe mankinds karma is to render itself helpless by it's own stupid choices. Whatever..... its a fact that crime is spiraling across the globe while Governments/Leaders chosen are more interested in self-gain than anything citizens worry about. Maybe if those chosen as leaders paid a heavier price when they fail those who elected them... things may change. IE - the French didn't do too bad with their leaders back in the day :) Only when Government fears the consequences of failing those who placed them there ... will anything change. I cannot believe this “girl” for a life sentence with a minimum of 15, not 25, to begin to apply for parole. Then she appealed for unfair sentencing and was awarded a 13 year minimum!? WTAF!? Her behavior and assessment seems to Shaw no accountability or comprehension of her crime, so hopefully she won’t be granted parole for life. In the states she would be denied each time she applied, guaranteed (based on her behavior, until it changed for several years). Just disgusting, what a pointless and heartbreaking crime! Sending so much love and strength to the family, and wishing her son a wonderful childhood filled with all of the love her mother had for him, spread through her family, his family ♥️

Yes, we've all encountered the occasional demon spawns that spring forth from the very bowels of the lake of hellfire. These monstrous kids are devoid of the component humans require in order to feel/express empathy and/or remorse. It's a specific disconnect that is almost visible. Those dark souls, capable of torturing pets and vulnerable small children...it's as if they're existing on a plane that's separate and apart from the majority of humans. Those are creatures that need watching because you should never turn your back to them. 😳👿

With all due respect, when it comes to your statement, “before people start talking about what hardships she went through in her life, it didn't give her the right to take Samantha’s life, especially when she was trying to de-escalate a fight,” not only should that go without saying, as far as there not being any “excuse” or “rational reasoning” for/behind someone taking the life of another, especially in this manner, but those, furthermore, who brings anything about someone’s past, trials, tribulations, hardships, significant circumstances, or crucial factors that commonly play vital roles in someone’s behavior and actions are not, in any fathomable way, saying nor suggesting that those things give someone “the right to take someone else’s life,” let alone is it a way of excusing, dismissing, devaluing, or taking away from the magnitude of what they did and the terrible impact left on those connected to the person who lost their life. Also, no one is “just hard-wired to be evil,” not to mention that the likelihood of someone being “entirely evil” or just evil, in general, is slim to none. Viewing human beings as being “good or evil” or “primarily decent or primarily terrible,” as if it is just an innate thing about that person’s soul being or as if it some “black and white,” “all or nothing,” straightforward/simple, “take it at face value,” or anything remotely similar, which dismisses the incredibly complex, complicated, multi-layered/multi-faceted, nuanced, ever-changing *[at least in regards to the vast majority of people-some are “slower” to evolve than others],* and multi-dimensional *[not 1-dimensional, not 2-dimensional, and not even 3-dimensional, but 4-dimensional, at the very least]* nature of human beings and the vast and seemingly endless life of circumstances, factors, events, details, elements, experiences, situations, and so on that mold us into who we are, how we act, how we think, what we believe, and everything in between. It's not that certain people are “evil,” but rather, it is that certain people have a deeply-rooted mental issues/struggles that not only tend to go untreated but those issues, furthermore, also tend to get fueled by unhealthy, irrational, cognitively impaired/flawed, harmful/toxic, and negatively impactful people, places, and things; that doesn't even get into the complexities of adding substances to one’s untreated mind. There is a lot more that goes into it-obviously. However, the point is that way too many people have acquired this mindset of viewing others through an unrealistic, nonsensible, extreme, irrational, short-sighted, narrow, confined, and emotionally charged lens that either purposefully or inadvertently dehumanizes individuals who have done awful and unthinkable things, in general, or to others, which I very much believe is something that most people would rather see within people than identifying and acknowledging just exactly how human these people are and how they aren't just “evil to their core,” much less “hard-wired to be evil.”. It is entirely acceptable to acknowledge that someone’s actions were wrong in every way, that Samantha should have never lost her life, feel for Samantha, her loved ones, and friends, and also gain an adequate understanding and awareness of how and why someone like the other *15-year-old* girl got to a place where she brutally attacked and murdered someone. One side of the situation *[the one of the victim, and the reality of how terrible it is what happened to them]* does not have to negate the other side, especially when both are significant, in general, and are vital for someone to acquire a profound level of knowledge and understanding of the situation in its entirety, as well as of those involved.

The evil in her shows right away just by taking a look at her. And she didn't make a mistake like she says, she's actually the mistake. She should stay in jail until she turns 60 or 70. That way she probably will learn how to treat others, cause it's obvious that she hasn't changed her ways and it still is the devil impersonated.

You don't stab someone 43 times self-defense. I'm glad the jury saw through her lies.. What is it with these young people, that do these heinous crimes? What sort of a family do they come from? It's no excuse though. They know right from wrong. She has no remorse at all. Sometimes a psychologist just can't help them. Bad seeds.

I don't understand how this happened. Can anyone tell me what the other people at the scene were doing while Samantha was being stabbed so many times? There were so many people there, including the boyfriend, who you'd think could stop this girl from continuing her rampage. How could no one pull her away? This story hasn't described how she managed to do all of this. It sounds like no one even tried to stop her or help. This poor family.... Edited to add: The continuing reenactment of Samanth's murder on this channel is entirely inappropriate. Whoever edited this needs to take note Smantha's parents will be watching this.

Whenever I hear the amount of stab wounds - especially when the person is claiming “self defence” - I will do a stabbing movement into my thigh as many times as they have said. Whenever I do this, it always always gives me a real understanding of just how long it takes, just how many opportunities there are to stop. 43 stab wounds is not quick at all. It’s just awful and intentionally brutal. It’s in absolutely NO WAY self defence.

What a sad story. Samantha did not deserve to die. It is so scary what drugs and alcohol can do to a person. Even in a sober and drug free state this young girl seems to have no true comprehension as to the severity of what she has done. From all reports she doesn’t even seem to care what she has done and the impact her murdering Samantha has had on so many lives. I believe in people having a second chance, but in this instance I don’t believe this girl should be released from prison, probably ever. There are just some people that should NEVER EVER be allowed to roam free, with a chance of doing anything like this ever again.

When I just look at this girl what I see is that she is consumed with attitude and hostility. I think she was jealous of Samantha who was a beautiful girl and loved by everyone who knew her and the murderer is a loser who tried to excuse her behavior by saying she didn't know what she was doing because she had done so many drugs and drank so much alcohol. BTW, I disagree with those who say she had not been taught right from wrong. HER MOTHER TURNED HER IN! I could be wrong, but I don't think that is the behavior of a woman who made no attempt to instill the knowledge of good and evil in her child. I grow weary of people blaming some substance on their behavior. If you can't control yourself when you drink and/or do drugs, then you need to control yourself enough not to drink and/or do drugs! I am delighted that she broke the conditions of her parole and got tossed back into prison. I think that's a fine place for her and I hope she stays there the rest of her miserable life. I do not care that she is only 15. If she is this evil at 15 every precaution needs to be taken to prevent her from being free to exhibit how evil she is at 25 or 35 or 45. Let her ROT in prison. I think it's a pity that the UK doesn't have the death penalty. I cannot even begin to imagine the pain that Samantha's family and friends are going through, all because of the jealousy of one low-down, worthless punk! I may get attacked for saying this but when someone gets high on drugs or alcohol I do not think they do ANYTHING that they are not WISHING they could do when they are stone cold sober. I don't think any substance changes your basic character. It just allows you the "courage" to do what you have always wanted to do. The dead look in this murderer's eyes was not put there by drug usage. It was put there by the blackness of her soul! How black is her soul? Well, she considers what she did "a mistake". No. When you go to the store to get hotdog buns and you get hamburger buns instead, THAT'S a mistake. What this monster did was nothing but EVIL and the fact that she cannot control herself when she is sent to OPEN prison shows that she learned NOTHING from her time behind bars and she needs to be kept there. She WILL kill again. The only question is, who will she kill and how soon will that murder take place.

So why did the court lessened her ALREADY short Sentence specially considering she butchered Samantha without any remores!!! I swear the more I see cases in England, Australia, Canada with such a slap on the wrist for murderers I become more convinced that they want keep the society unsafe and violence ridden to 1: population control 2: police, lawyers, judges, prosecutors, courts, media and many many others need these crimes to have an employment and paycheck...they don't care about the victim and their families or they wouldn't be so lenient towards these criminals.

I'm an Aussie and couldn't agree more with you! I don't understand the leniency of sentences here, even when murders.are horrific. I think from memory there are only about 8 murderers sentenced to life without parole/ never to be released, and most of those were committed several decades ago. I really feel that Judges have gone soft and show too much "compassion" and tolerance towards ALL offenders even when the crime is heinous ie. driving blind drunk and killing 2 children. The dangerous scumbag offender will only serve 9 years before being paroled. A cowardly "one punch" killer was given 3 years for causing the death of a young man. I don't think justice is currently being done, and it's certainly NOT BEING SEEN to be DONE!

Very very sad. Violence is the comeback for the pathetic, weak, immature, cowardly people who have no self control, no emotional human growth and obviously no vocabulary, words are spoken and they respond with weapons; absolutely nothing to be proud of. We should be talking each other to death not physically hurting each other.

I watched this whole episode and thought the criminalist is an embarrassment. How on earth did the boyfriend create "the circumstances in which she feels able to kill"? Did the boyfriend put the knife in her hand, did he cheer her on, did he scream come prove you love me and attack her? Was it still him controlling her when she threatened people while locked up? WTF! How did he NOT mention her parents in his bullshit? Does he actually know people who drank and did coke or did he read it somewhere? I've been around people who do it and NOT once did they ever resort to murder. Oh and she looks SO remorseful in her mugshot. F her! She alone knew what she was doing!

The psychologist annoys me with information that's so obvious no degree is needed such as: "this person must have been insane" and owning the patient. It's ridiculous. Anyone who kills another person is obviously insane, not in their right mind, usually drug or alcohol abusers, though not all. And the remark about women with knife violence is ridiculous too. In a country where no guns are allowed in private ownership, knives become the next weapon. Look at Britian and such places. Knife crime is #1, because they are the easiest weapons of opportunity. Strangling is #2. This isn't rocket science, nor does it take a degree in criminal behavior to figure it out. Just a terrible thing that happened to this young lady, I'm so sorry to her family for such a horrific way to lose a family member. As to the killer, she needs something to burn such heinous acts into her memory as such as one can never be too sorry, nor ever able to repay. Her upbringing aside, I don't care. God put in each of us the ability to know right from wrong, it was His doing at the time of conception... no one will ever psychologically or scientifically disprove it. To kill another living being is to call the very earth we walk on to tremble, our souls are not capable of not knowing we've done such a terrible thing. Which is why most people who come from messed up backgrounds don't become murderers. Drugs/alcohol is not an excuse. Nothing is.

the commentary gets it all wrong right from the outset: the definition of a child is - should be - innocence, and no-one already well past puberty can possibly be called a child, regardless of what throwback English law says. The horrifying case of the killing of James Bulger demonstrates that even a 10 year-old is past the age of innocence. Nevertheless, it is true that the prefrontal cortex does not become fully developed until the mid-twenties, so a neurophysiologist would have a case for arguing that no-one can be expected to have empathy before that. But that doesn't give anyone under 25 licence to kill. Perhaps there is case to be made for 'an eye for an eye': if you steal my sweets, then you forfeit your own; and if you steal someone's entire future, then you forfeit your own. And if you (NATO) steal Ukraine, then you forfeit your own England. That would be fair and just.

Well look I'm a recovering addict who would often drink and sniff some coke to sober up a bit. So I know she remembers because that coke didn't intoxicate her like the alcohol. Although on a breath alyzer she's still drunk, her brain is on that coccaine high and she remembered everything. If she didn't then it's not from being intoxicated, it's probably a response to trauma. It appears that the prosecutor didn't look into her excuse at all. 1 conversation with an expert would have told them the same thing. She knows what she did. She's not dumb. She's trying to get parole. Is everyone on this case so gullible or naive? My condolences to Samantha's family. Such a horrible way to go. And for such a sense reason. This is violence and if Jordan committed her crime here in USA she would never be a free woman which is what she deserves. 15 or not she took someone's life.
