Oh my poor Judith. I was married to a man for 19 years who lived a secret life. I was totally innocent to his disgusting double life , although he wasn’t a murderer ( that I’m aware of) but he was a bad man. I felt so revolting when I found out. People said I must have known but I never did. I grew up in a home where I could trust people & everyone was kind. Some people are so evil & take advantage of others. I’m sorry for her.

It’s so easy to watch an already played out and investigated case depicted in documentary, and point fingers saying the criminal’s family and friends were dumb for not knowing, but think about it, how many of you would realistically think someone you love would actually commit horrific, premeditated murders in real life? In most cases, it’s ridiculous and unrealistic.

You can expand that thought out to society as a whole, most of the American population actually believes through media outlets and politicians that their military is fighting terrorism, when in reality they fully support terrorism as a tool for regime change, the evidence is overwhelming with just a simple search, but millions of Americans just don't get it.

Trust me, she didn't know. I married someone that I would NEVER suspect would after 17 years together turn into the devil overnight and try to destroy me for no reason. It breaks you in a way you cant describe. And you cant even process it. Now I am 6 years out and healed. But it is scary to think of every having another person in my life like that. This case definitely affected American culture, particularly in the Northwest region. There was a grunge band Green River named after the Green River Killer. And Twin Peaks was partly based on the case. Many people in the Seattle area said they couldn't watch Twin Peaks at the time as it was too close to home, and the serial killer was still on the loose.

This shows that 'love' is not really the most important part in marriage, someone can love you so much, but he still has the worst personality ever, he still can be a murderer....

Watched his trial where one husband spoke right to him and said I forgive you . That killer finally broke down and cried . He had no emotion throughout until that moment. Even though he is a monster and he knows it there is a part of him that wants to be normal.

I was both appalled and fascinated by this case. It is amazing that this man had a full time job, was married, had children and was in a loving relationship while he was killing women. The first time I saw this lady talk about her relationship with this killer I really liked her. She comes across as such a nice, caring, intelligent woman. It's really unfair that someone so nice had to go through something so awful. I wish her all the best.

I've read and watched the Green river killer case and this is the first time I've seen his wife talk about him. In a way I understand. I wouldn't want to show my face everywhere on TV too if my husband's a serial killer.
