Teenager Rescues Seal

Dylan manages to net and rescue an entangled baby seal on his own. He’s getting better with each rescue. It will be up to the next generation to clean up the mess, so it's good that Dylan is following his parents' lead. Running on the slippery rocks is never a simple task. With a single error, someone can get hurt. Fortunately, we have gained the necessary experience and skill to run amongst these rocks safely. Due to the unacceptable crisis we’re currently in, we have to do this to create awareness and drive change for the future. 🦭

Dylan is becoming very good! He catches one, and then instantly starts scanning around him. He did very good with the double mess as well. So sad to see that both pups had that white strap around them, but Team OCN did an amazing job saving both on those dangerous rocks!

Naude, in my 70 years I've come to be a big believer in safety equipment--ounce of prevention and all that. When I see y'all running around on those slippery wet rocks I cringe. Please consider wearing helmets on those rocks. Skateboarding helmets or bicycle helmets would work well I expect, and you've probably got them at home. Be safe out there.

Yes, one would need specialized shoes with gripping soles for those wet rocks. They seem quite expensive also but worth it to help curb painful accidents. Short and sweet rescues today! 👌
