Ha Ha... prior to this video I filled out the online "service" request form this morning... and one of the many items that I want done is a telephone mount. Great to see that you can hide the wires!! Look forward to hearing back from Service :-)

@@Traxxion May I ask you a professional question about campus. I'm not familiar With it yet but I am planning next year to get a 2020 goldwing I have a idea to put 2 led turn signals that are ((not)) plug and play I want them on the trunk but how would I do this without interrupting anything with the campus system could I please get your input I'm really looking forward to this idea because I like to be different with my bike.😁

@@phillipvazquez284 I can't say 100%. The best man for this question is Lewis at "Electrical Connection". But as far as I know, you can add LED lighting without bothering anything. The only thing the "plug and play" does is make clean, factory-quality waterproof connections. So you can do the same with other lights as far as I know. It will not affect the CANBUS system to my knowledge. But don't trust me on this, contact Lewis.

I know I'm bringing back a post from the dead, but does this work for Android Auto, that splitter specifically says it doesn't support it.

Hola donde puedo encontrar el cable del baul que ha puesto? Gracias
Does apple carplay work on the usb2 port. I cant get it to work. USB 1 port on non airbag model works fine. Do I need to just split usb 1 for my phone to work with CarPlay?
@Traxxion2 жыл бұрын
Only USB1 controls the infotainment system. USB2 is charging only. You also can't split USB1 and have two data ports. You can only add a splitter with one side data, and one side charging.

What cable goes to usb1 to splitter again if I don’t have airbag model. I think Honda product. Also I am not seeing in my mind how this works. Usb1 goes to tank compartment directly. If I could put usb1 on the usb2 (swap) spot this would work but they only go on one way. On the Honda cable going into the unit, There is an inside ring with groove that I could remove or file a notch in the ring to make work maybe. What’s your thoughts? I am trying to keep the existing front connection functioning. Did not want to split it and run cable out of the front. If I get the usb 1 trunk cable I see no issues. Maybe just forget the phone in the foam crap and just use the trunk and outside mount. I do have the saddle bag cord and that’s how this started.

@@paulduckworth4356 every Goldwing has a data cable on USB1, regardless of model. That connects you to carplay. If you want to have charging elsewhere on the bike you need to put a data/charging splitter on the end of that cable and run extensions to wherever you want your objects to go, or you can just buy the Honda cable for USB2, and run it wherever you want. (it is intended to go into the left saddlebag up on the roof of it. 2020 and newer models already have it).
