Thanks Abby , Present Past and Future sounds really a good idea to frame the responses...

I have a question how would this differ in an internal job posting interview being an active employee for 3 years
@LifeWorkBalanceАй бұрын
Pretend these people don't know you! Answer it as if you would answer it in an external job interview.

Hello, how can i ask the interviewer that i would like a day shift than a night shift politely without getting rejected. Could you please help me with that, if am supposed to ask or not inorder to not reduce my chances of getting selected for the role?. Thank you, Neha.😊

Hi Neha! Great question. If you applied to a position that says it's for the night shift then this is likely something that is not negotiable. If they say it's rotating and there may be times you have to work the night shift, it's also probably not negotiable. If they ask you what you prefer, then certainly say day shift. If you are unsure, I would ask them to describe the typical work environment and schedule, and how teams/schedules are determined. Good luck!

Been in 2 different positions in three company and trying for a quality position these people know me how do i structure this info trying to cut threw nepitism
@LifeWorkBalanceАй бұрын
I know it's hard, but focusing on "nepotism" in the organization will only make you more salty and it can be a self-fulfilling prophecy (you don't believe you will get hired because of nepotism, then you don't perform as well due to your underlying beliefs, and then when you aren't moved forward in the process, you blame nepotism rather than taking an objective look at your interview performance OR recognizing that the person they hired may be a better fit). Focus on the things you CAN control: how you prepare (specifically regarding your question in this comment, answer the question, "tell me about yourself," as if the interviewers don't know you), how you respond, etc. Here's a video with internal interview tips: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iHjSfoR8itGpjLM

What if you are not working?

You can still use this example - talk about who you are and what you do in general. I can be unemployed and still start my "tell me about yourself" response with "I am a project manager who is passionate about safety and quality."
