I just wanted to share. a lot of times Christians have struggles and they have go through hard things and they want God to do something. we pray and ask God to do something. We ask something from him. I just want to say without preaching a sermon. don’t seek the hand of God seek his face. Don’t want the rain more than you want God. Go to God because you want to be in his presence, to know him and his ways better, and his character better. don’t seek the rain seek the face of God. Thanks for another great video Welkers!!!! It was interesting and enjoyable for sure!!!! Sorry about the heat problems on the Big Brute sprayer. On some engines the temperature sensor can actually be in air in some cases like low coolant etc. When this happens you get weird and inaccurate readings. I was taught to add coolant with the engine running (water pump pumping). A hot cast iron block meeting a relatively colder coolant could crack it. At least that’s what I was told. The water pump mixes coolant, hot and cold.

Yes, my father told me to either let it cool down fully or shut it off and let it cool a bit. Slowly remove the radiator cap with a big rag to protect yourself from being burnt . After you have relieved the pressure, start the engine and slowly add coolant with the engine idling. Leave the radiator cap off for 15 min. While the temperature is stabilizing. Keep filling to top of radiator w engine idling. Figure out if it is a belt, thermostat, a leak, radiator cap, etc.

On your Big Brute: There is a small vent line next to your upper radiator hose that runs from the cylinder head to the upper tank on the radiator. If the fittings on this hose become corroded/clogged or the hose becomes hard/clogged, air cannot be vented from the cooling system and an air lock can cause overheating. A suggetion would to clean/replace the fittings and/or hose. Your Big Buds may have something similar. These parts may need to be replaced once every 40 years. You may also want to add a coolant recovery bottle.🙂

coolant can't get into a cylinder from a bad head gasket unless it's got a blown a fire ring and then you're gonna end up with combustion gas in the cooling system. However, it can get in thru cavitation holes in the liners, and 855's are famous for that if you don't keep the cooling system nitrites around 1200 ppm.

Just remember to never stick your face above the radiator, to look into it! Once cap is removed, you should always wait at least 30sec! I saw a guy get his skin melted off his face when he removed the radiator cap on a diesel with a bad head gasket! He just stuck his head over the radiator to look into it, when it finally let the steam go! Horrible horrible thing to happen!

When I was a kid, my grand dad when he was alive, he'd take old plastic 1 gallon milk jugs, cut holes in the caps, mount them to the booms on our sprayer. He used those as a wind break when spraying during windy conditions. It really helped back in the day but, that's also and "old school" trick. Nick, if you were low, those hoses would be extremely hot to the touch. I think you have a faulty sensor or a broken wire, bad connection somewhere. If you were burning it, you'd smell it. This is why it was instilled in me at a very early age, always check all fluids before turning the key on. Great video as always, cheers :) P.S. Good to see "Wiggles" back, glad he's doing much better after that snake bite he had. :)

Something I learned one cold, dark night on a gen set, some temp guages use the coolant as a path to ground and will read high ( and prevent automatic start ) when the probe is not in coolant i.e. low level or even an air bubble possible steam. Really, it's another lesson in the old timer being cleaver.

The Welker Family light up my day, with Bob & Kobi,Nick & Scott, every turn of the wheel theres less acres to be done, seeding & spraying the land to the crop has come sprouting up, some days theres some problems, some days lots of fun,Oh Nick, when you scoot along at 80 mph, just remember that Big Bud spraying machine shakes, this can cause the pressure spring on the radiator cap spring to release fluid, one has to keep an eye on this as the radiator ages, no big deal, just check it morning & evening when you start & finish your work, another thing, We used to start the motor up when it was running hot then cool then stop, then restart when we put fluid in the radiator ,this way it wont crack the Head Block, a even cooling until the radiator is full and caped keeping the pressure even, there are a few things that can cause loss of water in the radiator, these 2 were the most, Radiator Cap, and Leaky Hoses ,Hole in the Hose, on that note Fellows Keep up that seeding your almost finished, Nick those drone shots are just Fantastic, Cheers & Best Wishes,God Bless ,Trevor.W.Bacelli.
