Tempestus Aquilons have landed in the new KILL TEAM: HIVESTORM box set!

We have an all new Kill Team to play with in 2024 and thanks to ‪@officialwarhammer‬ I got an early creator copy to make content with for you guys! As an avid Imperial Guard fan, of course I started with the new Tempestus Aquilons! I may have called them Scions for the whole video but these guys are are specialised units that use grav-chutes! As with all my Kill Team tutorials, I make it as easy and quick as possible for you to get your full team on the table ready for battle on Volkus!

Nice work, I went deep on the blood angels release so no kill team for me. Might pick up the core rules in time as I have the traitor guard team and the phobus kill team box to work thru. Glad to see you choose to release your vid on a Sunday. Probably a better idea than competitor with the slu of vids yesterday. Kill team play thru once you've got both teams finished. I like terrain videos myself. Always looking for different ways to add some colour schemes to my table without breaking the bank on materials and time investment.

I'm still a bit confused why the flyboyz have basically the same style of armor as chaos space marines, just look at the chest and shoulder pads, for example.

Chaos Space Marines wear power armour, though, while these guys have merely chest plates and knee pads. And while CSM armour trim uses simple triangles to "spike up" its appearance, Tempestus forces use the stylised cross ornament that's also found on noble Knights walkers.

​@@dekai7992 I am well aware that CSM have power armor. It is still an odd design choice to make them have similar aesthetics. There is more than enough room in the 40k universe to give these guys a more unique look.

So I had a look at the GW website for their colour scheme and I can see where you went with yours which is quite good. But an interesting thing caught my attention. The two Aquilons without helmets appear to be sculpted as females. No problem with that as I have read Gaunts Ghosts where there are a number of heroic females in the stories. But I wondered at these sculpts given the recent irritation with the Amazon and Custodes. Do you think GW may be preparing the way for inclusivity on Amazons terms. It is done well though because no boob armour the others could all be female as well. What thinkest though?
