Came for the battery range tutorial, stayed to hear more about "skatepacking". First time to hear this concept. Thanks for posting this!

Idk why I never thought of some rope to pull the board when it's dead. Such simple things are always the best.

Great video! Planning a few skatepacking trips myself for the near future. What route planning app do you use?
@MikeInTheWoods3 жыл бұрын
Mostly Google Maps with a bit of AllTrails, for these sorts of things

Great video concept and very insightful, but can we talk about that Orange sleeping bag? A down bag and stuff sack will help you satisfy a few of your items 😀

I like the idea of your channel. I would love to see you do a video about Boston Dynamics robot dog (or some kind of futuristic robot) in the future XD, you can use it to carry your additional bug out stuffs or collecting fire woods lol (and you should be able to charge it with portable solar panel). I know that they are still very expensive nowadays but maybe they will be available with affordable price in the near future so we can look at them as a way to increase our capability as preppers haha

I may or may not already have a few ideas on the subject... ;)

Just add as much batteries as you can without exceeding the ESC amperage. Most 36v ESC's can handle 42 volts and 40amps but in the winter you can push a little more amps.

I'll need the all terrain wheels cause the footpaths in my town are really rough with little stones everywhere. Would mini inflated tyres work?
@MikeInTheWoods2 жыл бұрын
Yep, thats what most AT boards use

Another way to get range is by going fast going slow causes the bearings to over heat and slow down I learned that from just skateboarding.

Less than a minute in and I've been agreeing constantly. Most of my mates thing eskate backpacking sounds dumb or something.
