@siinxx76562 жыл бұрын
She's close to ok. same with this guy. Very standard art, far from outstanding, they say "AMAZING", "UNBELIEVABLE" and is just some regular painting, that ton others do on Deviant among others, however hype and clickbait does all the job, this era is all about "building a community". Can't fight the masses, they're just too many.
@Fluff_Noodles2 жыл бұрын
@@siinxx7656 Why are you such a hater? What's wrong with building a community? If creative and original artists like this are just "close to okay" to you then what are you a fan of? Genuinely curious as to what your response would be considering you went out of your way to leave a negative comment with zero constructive criticism or actual feedback.
@siinxx76562 жыл бұрын
@@Fluff_Noodles A hater? What are you talking about, what I wrote is an assessment, nothing of what I've said is a lie or an exaggeration, for the record I saw Ten maybe since 2013 for the first time and I just found out about this Martina girl probably 2 months ago, and is so up the face that these guys basically went to youtube school and learnt how to build communities independently of their artistic dexterity, this is a very real phenomena, I'm not hating on it. Ten was kinda novel 10 years ago, but he's still doing the same thing in the same way after all this time just recorded differently. Thefutur teaches a lot about that, they're much more worried about the camera shot, the angle, the collabs and the hanging out than the actual work in progress, hell Martina is more worried about proving herself as a person during her videos than the actual art she does and the art she does is the same thing that other youtubers or creatives do across the internet in regards to what is trendy or what is clickbaity, if you want to entrepreneur an artistic carrier on video media stakes are high that you will end up doing the same social/psychological treatment to your audience, I fail to see how that's hateful. What kind of art I like? I'm more of a classical person, in regards to painting, architecture and sculpting due to the nature of people trying to convey enlightenment or a higher understanding of what is really reality and or what gives foundations to it. Geography varies, I think Indian, European and Scandinavian appeals the most to me aesthetically but South American pre-colombian, African and Chinese have a lot in it. Taking this to the present, I remember what Andrew Jones was doing in the early 2000's really inspired me, not only his work, you can look him up, he has an impressive career, but his actual understanding of art, he talked about NFT's when Blockchain was barely a thing, his idea of digital painting as electro-mineralism is curious, anyway I can go over and over about him and others, same in music and cinema I'm a very artsy person so when I see this I can help but think... surely matters that creators put "being your friend" above contributing in any regards to the great spectrum of art. Hope this clears any doubts. I salute you fellow commentator.

"for a 17-year-old" Really? As a visual artist with two fine art degrees, and years of experience. That is just an amazing statue. That would be an amazing statue for any adult to make too. Which makes it even a little more amazing being that he is seventeen. When you serve someone a compliment with a qualifier like that is interpreted as a backhanded insult. It really isn't genuinely nice. I was a young prodigy artist as a kid and these types of compliments were like adults taking jabs at me to keep my ego in check. Why not just admit that the statue is an amazing statue and leave the qualifier out. Your qualifier, "for a seventeen-year-old", really says it is sub-par and not particularly good. Maybe when you are an adult you can do better. I honestly as an artist don't see where art school would benefit him. The kid is smashing it! Maybe that isn't what you meant, but that is how compliments with qualifiers come off. It is like saying, wow, you're pretty for someone as OLD as you are!" This kid is just awesome, and your compliment was rude. Don't use qualifiers, they aren't nice at all! Whether you meant it or not that is how it reads!

@@lulugregory3246 to be honest, I was quite positive that you didn't mean it that way but felt it important to say something. It is hard being a young artist with these types of skills. This is part of the reason I follow you, Peter. (Aside from your awesome art and killer content, of course.) Content creators are called influencers but so many people don’t really think about the responsibility or the weight of that word: influencer. This is the second (to my knowledge) small KZbinr you’re collaborating with, plus the rules on sub count for season 2 of the biggest art collab… so many creators over a certain amount of subs, even just a fraction of your sub count, would NEVER. You give back to the community that supports you in REAL ways, ways that impact and encourage artists. And I hope it encourages more KZbinrs to walk in the same path and use those powers of influence for good.
