I have never played the game so I’m not sure what other references there are but I’m certain that’s where it’s from. I watched my brother play it like a decade ago for a bit before I got too scared to watch. Also the ghost taking over a dead body is something the aliens do in the game. Super great job on their end for replicating how horrifying it is!

Only, like, Sonic Adventure 1&2, Sonic Colors and Generations really are the only ones that hold up super well. What I want is another Adventure or Boost game, with a well constructed, simple story. Even just, “Eggman stole the thing, stop him!” would be great as long as it well written.

you know, if it was any other version of Kirby I would've been a little sad that they made it a christian, but kirbo is the perfect version to make a christian. Actually a good soul and is sweet and cute to the very end (if we ignore him eating and destroying everything like a literal ape). And kirbo's lines are actually correct, like, even the depiction of Jesus had correct lines, there is literally zero things I can complain about with Kirbo being a christian and its so so great. I'd have my kids watch kirbo if he had his own series like Veggie Tales as a kids christian cartoon, I love it.
