I don’t get why that’s too hard. 1 and 2 perfectly from dialogue to every sequence set that all up that time is a Infinite loop and meant to happen. They got the technology to show the gritty world they briefly showed in those movies. They can make 3 movies. First two end with Reese and the three terminators going back in time. Then the final war

I think it was stupid to kill John, erasing 3, 4, & 5. It screwed the whole timeline up making 3, 4, & 5 downgraded to fanfiction, for the sake of a possible good movie, which failed.

They killed off John for the sake of promoting woke agenda (strong independent female character of hispanic origins, bad guy/terminator of hispanic origins, bashing immigration policies, making Arnold's terminator a male version of a housewife etc)

Easiest way around it, future John finds out more Terminators were sent at the last minute. Given they’d already set the charges to blow up the time machine & his soldiers evacuated, John himself devised to go back in time to save himself dying in Dark Fate. However with the explosions going off & the time stream changing due to young John dying the time displacement device sent future John to a year after Dark Fate. This way he can meet up with Sarah again but also help humanity when & if Legion rises.

Perhaps Terminator could have a plot twist: Terminators are actually the humans who could actually transfer their conscience to the skeleton-machines. That might be interesting as well as terrifying and puts into question the issue of transhumanism. Artificial Inteligence (AI) could in this storyline be used by rich people in order to control the rest of the world (the non-machine humans). This would cut humanity in two instead of humanity as a whole against the machines as a bloc. The new ground for the franchise, in my view, is not only signaled with the appearance of Artificial Inteligence but also with the issue of transhumanism that might change human nature forever.

We want to see the Future War exactly like James Cameron envisioned it, designed it and drew it. We want to see the growth and the hard times of the Resistance. We want to see the long and harsh battle for the Fall of SkyNet. We want to see the final assault on Skynet's main base. We want to see SkyNet sending its Terminators back in time. We want to see John Connor sending both Kyle Reese and T2's T-800 back on time before destroying the time travel machine. No more reboots, no more change of timelines, just ending the original story we all love: T4 (Terminator Renaissance) was on the right path.

I have a perfect idea for doing a reboot for the Terminator franchise and yet still having Linda Hammel and Arnold Schwarzenegger still playing a part in the movie on moving forward for the first one on it and that would be having her move it to where you go back in the time where you protect the Sarah Connor, blah blah blah, and then Right at the end where they find the chip in the arm similar to what happened to their butt Arnold Schwarzenegger being in charge of the series building for the cyber and then having Linda Hamill being there for a cameo doing something there for me maybe having Connor be a noto the Connor that happened but maybe like a relative going from there have them there as to what was the main characters but just having them in the background and people moving forward with franchise

Is too much to ask for a movie to pick up after part 2. Show us the war in the world we briefly saw in part 1/2. Just explain how time was Infinite loop. Show the gritty war we saw in 1 and 2. At the end of two there was still pieces of the t800 ripped from its arm. First movie ends with Reese and the T800 going to 1984. A second movie with T1000 going back to the 90s and the last movie showing the end of the war. Why is that too hard to do?

It's a bad sign that Cameron is starting to go arthouse. Bringing in edwsrds is going to make it even worst because you have one arthouse hack directing a potential dumpster fire written by another arthouse hack. 3 to 5 weren't perfect but they were perfectly entertaining movies. I believe the Achilles heel of this franchise are the fans who are too married to the firdt 2 movies. Sequels shouldn't go off on a tangent, but fans should be more opened when producers incorporate just enough updating to further the story along. Fans should be open to the james bonding of characters. I don't think the new sarah Connor and Kyle Reece deserve the hate they got. I've watched the first 2 movies repeatedly, the original reece and connor were one dimensional performances. Biene did a better job in aliens while Hamilton was even more wooden in t2. Genisys already set up an interesting premise for a sequel, battling skynet itself in our time. Since Cameron himself actually endorsed this movie I feel he somewhat responsible for completing the story arc. At very least we would've avoided the train wreck that was dark fate. I put blame for this disaster on Cameron. Besides genisys started to address the ideas thar were repeated adnauseum in the video.
