Current battery technology greatly limits electric vehicles. 1,000s of pounds of batteries that won't hold up to regular heavy discharges and quick recharges. The battery pack is extremely difficult to service and is by far the most expensive part of the vehicle. I wouldn't pay more than 10k for an EV

Battery doesn’t need to be serviced. It will last longer than the life of the car on average
