We own two homes: 1) St Louis, Missouri - 60% of the electricity that goes into our Tesla comes from burning coal 2) Maui, Hawaii - 65% of our electricity comes from burning diesel fuel So going "Everything Electric" might harm the environment more than gasoline.

If it was 100% coal or diesel, it would STILL be better than having a dino burner for your drive. Surely you know better than this. It's your dishonesty that's gotten you banned from SO MANY channels.

@@FutureAZA My hero is back - the grown-up crossing guard. I must admit elon Fan Boys really love the guy Oh - where are your numbers to backup your claim - you never have any just tantrums... and name the sites that I am banned from - and how its done on KZbin folks will be interested

@@FutureAZA Let me supply some numbers to your wacko claim: I asked AI this question: Q: Compare the CO2 emitted from a Rav4 over 300 miles to a Tesla Model Y that gets its electricity from 60% coal. AI: Toyota RAV4 Emissions According to the data, the Toyota RAV4 has a fuel economy of 3.3 gallons per 100 miles. For a 300-mile trip: Fuel consumed: (300 miles / 100 miles) * 3.3 gallons = 9.9 gallons CO2 emissions per gallon of gasoline: 8.93 kg CO2e Total CO2 emissions: 9.9 gallons * 8.93 kg CO2e/gallon = 88.41 kg CO2e Therefore, the Toyota RAV4 would emit approximately 88.41 kg CO2e over a 300-mile trip. Tesla Model Y Emissions The Tesla Model Y has a fuel economy of 38 kWh per 100 miles. For a 300-mile trip: Electricity consumed: (300 miles / 100 miles) * 38 kWh = 114 kWh To calculate emissions from a 60% coal-powered grid, we need to estimate the CO2 emissions per kWh. Coal power plants emit about 1 kg CO2 per kWh. Assuming the remaining 40% is from zero-emission sources: CO2 emissions per kWh: 0.6 * 1 kg CO2/kWh = 0.6 kg CO2/kWh Total CO2 emissions: 114 kWh * 0.6 kg CO2/kWh = 68.4 kg CO2 Therefore, the Tesla Model Y would emit approximately 68.4 kg CO2 over a 300-mile trip when charged from a 60% coal-powered grid. Comparison Toyota RAV4: 88.41 kg CO2 Tesla Model Y: 68.4 kg CO2 Even with a significantly coal-powered grid, the Tesla Model Y emits about 22.6% less CO2 than the Toyota RAV4 over the same distance. ============ Like ALL your emotional outbursts here and on your pathetic website you are nearly wrong all the time and of course the Tesla numbers do not include the CO2 needed to make the battery out of rare earth materials add that in and the Model Y produces much more CO2 than the Rav4 AI says that amatorizing the CO2 expelled making the Lithium battery of the Model Y is when amortized over 5 years, the CO2 emissions from producing a Tesla Model Y battery would be approximately 1,000 kg CO2 per year. drive the average 13,456 miles per year that Americans drive and that's another 22 kg CO2 or a total of 90.7 kg CO2 in 300 miles by the Tesla. =============== How many times must I embarrass you in front of various audiences?
