While I agree there are some disappointments in the model 3, a lot of people still don't care if there's a lot of plastic on the inside. I think the model 3 is a great car that many people like, which is why it's one of the best selling cars out there.

Stupid stuff kept happening that kept us from getting a model 3 last year. We wanted to do cash this time, so it worked out nice that the refresh is such a better car. We traded in a janky 2011 Jaguar XF with 82k miles that leaked oil and had a wobble at 70mph and had a leaking sunroof that was mounted crooked and had a phantom sensor issue so the service light was more like a slow strobe light and other crap I forgot. Never doing ICE again if I can help it. Not a fan of the no-stalks thing. Makes me do round-a-bouts without signaling. Wondering if there will be a future recall and what they'll do with those two buttons instead. We also have a 2008 Lexus IS250 with 125k miles that is starting to have small, weird transmission wobbles. It's nice to not have a car payment, but I do healthcare and have to have a car that works. And charging this thing is 11 cents per KWh, and we usually top it off at night with about 8KWh. I'm not a fan boy though. Just think electric is way better so far in so many ways. I do see some fit and finish issues; like some things just feel a bit cheap, and I don't find that in my Lexus. It is kind of funny that this American car has issues considering the made-in-USA ethos/mythos that we do everything so much better. hee. xoxo

Something you forgot, the MS cost more than double the M3. I do love watching The Tesla Plaid channel on KZbin.

Model S is far superior in every way so it's to be expected though.

When I went for a test drive I fell in love with the performance M3. It was so fun, acceleration was unworldly, so planted to the pavement. I love the minimalism and tech. As soon as Highland performance becomes available to order in Phoenix I'm ordering it. Stealth Grey dark interior. Super excited. First Tesla let alone EV

As someone living in Europe, I've always wanted a model 3.. but seeing that the Highland version doesnt have stocks on the steering.. indicating sounds like it'll be a pain on roundabouts. I think I'll just look for a 2022/23 model 3 on the used market.

People that have the highland version say it doesn't take long to adapt to the removal of stocks. Maybe do a test drive and see what you think.

Great video for anyone looking to purchase a Tesla M3 or MS. Hands down the model 3 performance is the best bang for your buck & the speed is lighting fast. Also handles awesome & has track mode !! Hence why it’s one of Teslas’s best selling cars (along w the Y). The model 3 is slightly faster than the model S LR. I agree the model 3 is noisier & the S has better seats & suspension. I had a model S LR and all it did was squeak inside. IMO.. It really felt cheap in certain aspects & not worth the money. In short, all of this really depends on what the buyer needs it for (family, road-trips, etc). I do think they are both great cars either way you look at it. I do think the new model 3 performance will be mind blowing !! It’s a smaller S & 3 inches bigger with a larger trunk. Btw that you did an amazing job on the warp. 👍🏾 Drive safe ⚡️😎

I'm curious to know how the suspension compares between model 3 highland vs model S.

you can even hear the noise i nthe 3 just by flicking back and forth... and the worst part is... this is a 2023 model 3 which is already fairly quiet. 2018/2019 model 3s are even louder...
@muriloninja Жыл бұрын
It's cheap + Tesla which = YMMV! Good luck!

Yeah I’m getting the Model S, no question there but I’m thinking about waiting until the tech from the Cybertruck filters down into it like the steer by wire and the 48 volt architecture.

How come model 3 Performance has a top speed of 162mph and the model S has 131mph both at 3.1s 0-60. And model S cost so much more
@reidtomasko38578 ай бұрын
That's just due to the tires they put on the cars, Model S does have a higher top speed, just limited by the tires they use
@MaazFz8 ай бұрын
Oh ok. What tires do you have on the model S in this video? I have a model 3 Performance and currently looking to upgrade don’t know if I want the arachnid wheels that comes with the car

@pauldbeer10 ай бұрын
What car were you reviewing? A highland or this car? No man, not cool? Also, comparing the three directly to the S is just duft! These are two different cars! One is a mid to large size sedan and the other a mid to small size sedan, with pricing to match! The Model 3 and model S should never be "compared" per-say, but rather tested and differences discussed. It is just not cars in the same class of cars and therefore not "comparable"
