I like the S better than the X. Much faster, aerodynamic and imo the S is the best looking Tesla. X is good if you have kids.

I have a 21 X now with 80k miles. I think the car has been towed 4x....two blowouts and two broken axles. I also had to install the infinite rear equipment as my tires were wasted after 4k miles. I live in SoCal and made the mistake of getting 21" wheels..roads are so bad and the vehicle is so heavy it takes a beating. I just ordered the S Plaid with 19" wheels...hoping for better luck.

We just bought a gently used 2023 Model X Plaid in Ultra Red with white interior and a yoke. Absolutely love it.

One thing I noticed about the new S and X is the elimination of the energy/regen display. The 5 seat version of the X has considerably more room than the S with the seats folded. It also adds additional rear trunk storage. Drove a plaid, and it was almost dangerously fast.

Model X 6 seat configuration and Plaid is currently $3K in difference. Don’t see a reason to not go Plaid for $3K more if you want a 6 seat configuration.

Minor wheel issue: FSD advisory/ warning flash is at the top of the display in front of the driver. Depending on seat or driver eyeline that warning area is BLOCKED by the top of the steering wheel. Just sayin. Brand new surprise !

Considering the amount of “former demo cars” being listed for sale in their website, I think there’s quite a few. I’ve seen a few plaids that have 500-1k miles with the little “Demo-Vehicle” tag listed for sale.

What is 0 to 60 in S Plaid with Plaid mode off? Cant seem to find the answer. Is it faster than the long range at 3.1 seconds thanks

@@reidtomasko3857 That would be great. I currently have the 2023 X but miss my 2019 S performance. Looking to return to the S but wavering on the Plaid or long range. A friend up north has the S Plaid but says he rarely uses it. If the Plaid does say do 2.5-2.7 with Plaid off, I probably go with the Plaid. Im an older guy, but still have a 'need for speed.' Thanks

I went and saw a X with the 5 seater and how it all folded down and had a ton of space and I also took into consideration the tax credit that the Model X has as well and that really made me decide to try a x@@LanceT.
