The long range RWD is even quicker and also qualifies for the $7,500 federal tax credit, making that version $36,630 with delivery and fees. That’s only an $8K shortfall to get a lot more vehicle that’s cheaper to run.

from someone who owned a VW from 26k miles to 130k mi then moved to a 2022 Model 3 SRP, something to mention is the cost of ownership once the VW gets to 80k mi. then once you hit 100k... the cost of ownership just continues to rise. A fantastic car when I first got it, and even with consistent maintenance, i ran into so many oil leak issues, endless carbon build up issues, i had to relace the gear shift selector entirely intake manifold, the transmission started to go to shit. just a constant slew of issues. I'd rather deal with range loss and the "potential" of a battery issue, than the lost promise of a reliable engine.

I just got a new model Y dual motor and it has stalks, and after test driving the "refreshed model 3" without stalks, I'm happy I have stalks, because a family member got a model s and is having problems with its turn signal buttons.
@jay.rsingh2530Ай бұрын
model 3 and model s "buttons" are different. Model s has touch buttons while model 3 has actual clicky buttons (that are more reliable). As someone with the new model 3, it was not a deal breaker and I am now indifferent on it. I have no trouble switching back and forth from my tesla and other gas car.

I have had a bunch of manual transmission vehicles. It’s fun for a minute but the worst is being stuck in traffic. Having to start and stop every car length and your leg is getting tired but you don’t have a choice you have to keep going.

You should actually test the model 3 range, the new EPA ratings are much more accurate since beginning of this year. Usually Tesla's outperform the new EPA ratings now.

Ok so 8 cents/mile at supercharger, 9.5 cents/mile for gas. If you factor the cost of the tire change, well over $1000 every 10-20,000 miles or less depending on how you drive, then the Jetta is way cheaper.
