You really shouldn't trust a product that you can't manually get into. i mean with an actual key and a mechanical means to get in. If somebody used an EMP bomb on a country that knocks out all your electronics (and modern armies do have this tech on hand btw), the only thing you will be able to drive is a pre-1980's combustion engine with manual parts in it. Your tesla and your amazing new Toyota Camry will be bricked.

@@JOSEPH-vs2gc bruh, if you have any car that relies on sparkplugs or glowplugs for diesel, you are indeed fucked. Which means you can't drive anything except really old diesel engines that runs on compression alone, and since your start engine will be out of service due to being zapped by the emp, you'd have to roll start it. If you're going to be a paranoid doomsday prepper, atleast do it right.

It's a golf cart, but does not have room for 7 sets of clubs... Poor design... The Tesla "Cyber Truck" is also butt-ugly, but at least it has room for a few sets of golf clubs in the bed of the pickup. It's supposedly a 6-seater, but it might be a tight fit to put 6 golf bags in that enclosed bed of the truck. Maybe one of the aftermarket companies will create a special insert that fits in the bed that has room for 6 individualized sets of golf clubs, but without the bags. :)

Clarkson on form and genuinely enjoying the goofy touches of the Tesla; changing his tune about electric cars, and yet still trying to fit in a final few digs before the enevitable occurs. The logs on the Tesla showed it never dropped below 20%, but they claimed it ran out of power after 55 miles on the highway. Yeah the Model 3 Performance is the same, although it loses a lot of steam above about 110. Despite the acceleration though, they are not what I would call "fun" cars. Good for the commute bad for a weekend thrash.

@Stimpy&Ren You are shifting the goalposts. Tesla proves that well-managed EV batteries can have great longevity. It's not like mobile phones that need replacing every 3 years due to loss of capacity. Tesla depreciation is low; resale values are high. So instead you talk about range anxiety. Yes, we all know that EV range is inferior to ICE range. EVs are great for moderate daily use. But if you're going to be frequently driving 250+ miles in a hurry and can't afford to stop for 20 minutes at a fast charger, perhaps an EV isn't for you. As for the BMW X5 hybrid, I actually agree with you. I can't recommend a hybrid power train. Just get an electric power train. Either a pure EV, or if you still want petrol as a backup, get a range extender option like on the BMW i3 or Vauxhall Ampera.

Yeah they were exiting, i was always exited that my vectra made it home without sensors galore failing like it normally did, or when the main fuse blew on my vivaro while going across the forth Bridge while in the overtaking lane because the wiring loom rubbed through and shorted, or the time my astras head gasket blew, then my next astras head gasket blew, then my zafira had constant coolant problems, vauxhall can stick its shit cars up its arse, i will never buy another one

@@siliquaesid703 my dad had 2 cavaliers, the first one had 250k then died, the 2nd one he sold to a friend after 150 k and it lived for quite a while, they were good cars, i did love my vectra 3l v6, it went like stink, but you could watch the fuel gauge go down.. I think the vauxhall made in the 90s were possibly the best, astra mk3 was good

There is also a "Brake Regen" mode that when you let off the gas pedal, the motor will brake and allow a certain percentage back into the batteries.. Something you need to get used to, and does not take long. In short is saves money on brake usage and therefore longer to need to change brakes,,,

As already mentioned, that's existed beforehand, but it is still very useful. Non-electric cars would use it to charge up the car's battery, and the same principle can also be applied to electric cars (obviously).

@@Phantogram2 It was only proven to idiots who don't understand how films are made. They worked out its range on the track and said that was what it was, the stopped the car to demonstrate that in a safe and film-able way. Otherwise they would have had to film and hope that the camera was in just the right place on the track when the car did run out of juice which would be a pretty stupid way of filming. This is like moaning about when they showed the problem with pick ups in the UK that the thief who nicked stuff from the back was an actor or that when testing track cars they deliberately chose a wet day to show the problem of them as everyday cars.
