Nicely done. I enjoyed the trip! I just ordered a MY so I am excited to get it and try it out.

Thank you, Sir and Congratulations! I know the feeling. It took me 9 months from order to delivery on my MYLR. Tesla changed the delivery dates 11 times, but it is still worth it.

Jules, great video on your trip and very informative commentary. I would be interested in your view on the wait time for charging. Rough calculation it looks like you stopped for a total of about 1 hour for the entire trip. Does the stopping get boring, or seem like you are wasting time? Would appreciate your thoughts and reaction on your first major trip since stopping in an ICE vehicle would be considerably shorter and not add as much time to the total trip. Thanks. p.s. Your blue-with-white interior is very sharp looking!

Hello John. Thanks for watching and for your questions and comments. Coming back from the trip made me appreciate more on the car. When you put in your final destination, the car calculates the estimated arrival time which contemplates charging stops and times.Yes, you are absolutely correct in that it is about an hour of accumulated stops which gave me time for restroom breaks anyway. To me stopping for about 20 mins is acceptable and gives you enough time to stretch and grab some drink and food. Most supercharger stations are at a gas station which you will have access to food, drinks, restroom, etc. However, some are a little farther. I think once you're familiar with a certain supercharger station that you don't like, you can skip that on your route and just go to the next one. Cost wise, SC charge are expensive compared to home charging. So, for road trips you will have about the same cost as gas, if your ICE car runs 25 mi/gal or more.

One important lesson I learned on my first long distance trip from Texas to Georgia, is to trust the computer. If it says you will arrive at 15%, it really meet that 99% of the time. At first I wasn’t comfortable going less than 30%…but on the way back home, I found it worked better letting the state of charge to go down to 15% or so. That actually works faster for charging as Mr. Jules mentioned. Also, I wasted so much extra time charging, until I learned to trust the computer😊👍

Thank you, Sir @@Coco6407. Yes, the ETA on your final destination also takes into consideration the number of charging stops and charge duration. Pretty impressive indeed.
