As someone who took delivery a week ago, I would say take delivery ASAP. So glad I did. This thing is unreal. To address the reasons in the video to delay: 1) Autopilot/FSD will be added, and actually if you already have the truck, you will get it sooner than waiting to get it after it’s released. 2) who cares about playing games in your car? I have an Xbox for that. 3). The steer by wire as it currently exists is fantastic, so if it gets better in later versions, cool, but it’s currently a massive plus for getting it now. 4) you are getting extra for the 20K, comes with FSD which is currently 12K, and likely to go up in the future. Also you get about 1000k worth of accessories, and the hardware for charging and using the Cybertruck as a backup battery for your house. Now maybe someone doesn’t want those things, but you are getting value for the extra cost AND you get the truck now. 5) white seats is no reason to not get the truck now. The interior looks gorgeous as is. 6). The range is fine for almost all driving scenarios. And if h You want the range extender, it can be added when available on your truck you already own 7) homelink I do love it on my model 3, but a 10 dollar garage clicker works too. Basically, if you want the Cybertruck, and have the opportunity and budget, Get it as soon as you can.

You should put an overlay of text correcting your cruise control statement. It does not just have basic cruise control. It has “adaptive cruise control” a big difference versus regular cruise control.

Technically the cost of the AWD truck is still 79,999, the 20,000 is for FSD and accessories, so if Cybertruck qualifies for the rebate those who take delivery of the foundation series would still be able to take the rebate, if Tesla did the proper reporting to the IRS.

Steer by wire is the only legitimate complaint here. The rest are overblown. No Steam? What other car has Steam? It's expensive? It's a vrand new electric vehicle and a one of a kind model. SMH.

Agree on waiting. No reason to drop an extra $20,000 just to be the first, unless you literally have money to burn. First gens will also always have some issues that will be worked out in later gens. I’m waiting a couple of years. Pricing will be down as Tesla always does and the features you mentioned improved.

Number 3 is completely wrong. It was only the first few hundred VINs that had the 3 degree issue. All current ones are fine with 10 degrees

The auto pilot and FSD issue is pretty ridiculous for you to be saying as a reason to delay. When it's safe to deliver for the Cybertruck, they'll deliver it, and you will have already purchased it. So, no big deal, it'll get downloaded, and you'll be ready to go. it's not ridiculous that it's not there because of safety. There were issues that they want to ensure are resolved and it is safe and ready to go before releasing to the Cybertruck. so they're doing customers a service, not a disservice, in allowing them to purchase it up front but put it on as soon as it's safe to do so. Given the rate of improvement in version twelve, the pricing may go up as version twelve continues to see vast improvements, and now they're locked in.

Delayed delivery. Our 2022 X plaid had depreciated $100k. We took delivery Feb 2022. Since then the prices have come down drastically and Tesla continues to improve in every area. Our cybertruck was ready for us to schedule delivery. Instead I cancelled. We will wait. Love the X and fsd v12 so much. Not doing this early purchase of a new model again😂

I disagree. The reason to get your Cybertruck ASAP is because their are 2 million orders for this vehicle. This means you can have the vehicle now for one year and then probably sell it for a profit at the end of that year. Zero depreciation on a vehicle for one years use. You won't get that with an ICE Ford F150 which will plummet in value when you drive it off the forecourt. You also get the the "I'm a celebrity" status of driving one of the first Cybertrucks off the production line if you like the attention it will bring. In a years time that attention will have dwindled.

Rear steering part was already fixed on all new cybertrucks as of a month ago. 2. Tesla has never said there would be whilte seats, nor have they shown them. 3. The dual motor cybertruck actual range is higher than promised in 2019.

Your forgot the missing cyber hubcaps which is an aesthetic disaster. Having exposed plain ugly rims with round edges on a vehicle like the Cybertruck is a design crime. Chief designer Franz is probably cringing so hard and dying on the inside seeing it being delivered like that

It's not crazy that Autopilot isn't available on the Cybertruck, it's ridiculous! Tesla has been more and more selling products that don't have what people paid for, and it's getting old real quick. They really need to get the software working first then sell the vehicles. I thought they hire smart people?! I could care less about Steam games, I just want Missile Command, Lunar lander, Astroids, etc, like my Model 3 had, in my HW3 Model Y. Oh and give me a way to delete games (and the Icon for the games), I will never play. The biggest reason to wait to get your Cybertruck is a lower cost to something more in line with what Elon initially promised we'd get, and more range without having to pay for an overpriced extender that takes up bed space. And, I'm hoping Tesla with design in a dedicated space for a spare time because storing it in the bed is unacceptable. And how is it that Tesla didn't notice the aero covers damaged the tires during testing? People who got their trucks discovered this issue right away, yet Tesla didn't, even after their long Baja test trip?!
