I’ve got to say I lost a lot of respect for you with the simple comment of the fact you take EMF radiation “seriously”. I mean, good for you - but is this backed by any academic studies other than Instagram influencers?
@RyanCowan
@RyanCowan 5 ай бұрын
Yeah I had to be careful how I worded this. You are correct - there's currently no conclusive evidence to suggest EMF is harmful to humans, but many studies have stated it's 'inconclusive' as some signs point to potential harm. Hence why most governments and tech companies will set exposure recommendations and limits. Hope this helps.

@@RyanCowanthe truth is not so easy accesibleon the surface. Search deeper for it and you will be amazed what you find. Those tools are not final points of " EMF safety proof". Speak to people who suffer from EHS.There are plenty of doctors who are aware of detrimental effects of EMF. Don't be fooled by "officially accepted standards". You create false safety feeling for yourself, your family and others. 😢 Once you on the other side of the reality, you understand the real perspective but it would be just too late then cuz you won't be able to find a safe place for you cuz your body will get too sensitive to all EMF radiation. You will stand on other side of reality and the only people who understand you will be those who suffer from EHS. At that point you don't need to carry a device in your pocket cuz your body will identify the EMFs. In a way it is not bad cuz your eyes then will become wide open to truth. Later you will watch this your video and think what a pure lie and illusion we are living in! Take caution, don't be fooled by the system!

The K2 EMF Meter covers a range of 50 to 1,000 Hz, so it will not detect Tesla electronics, which operate in the kHz range. Additionally, the video does not address Tesla's electric fields or microwave radiation.

Bingo. That meter doesn't look like any of the high quality reputable EMF meters I have seen. And there's no one 'EMF meter' that measures everything. There are meters that measure voltage, or magnetic fields, or high resonance electrical waves ('dirty' electricity) or radio frequency. Radio frequencies are so broad that it frequently takes several meters to accommodate all the bandwidth. He needs at least 2-3 more meters for accuracy.

What kind of 'EMF' were you actually measuring? For accurate measurements, there are radio frequencies (usually involving at least 2 radio frequency meters to cover the wide range of frequencies), voltage, magnetic fields, and dirty electricity (lots of different frequencies on the same wires). Each of these use different meters. Most quality meters start around $150-200 and cheaper ones frequently are not nearly as sensitive as they claim to be. I looked up the K2 EMF reader and it doesn't even specify what kind of EMFs are measured. That's a huge red flag that the meter is not reliable for any proper testing.

@dang4937
@dang4937 Ай бұрын
EV batteries are also just storing electricity. EMF is caused by a current changing directions which emits an EM field. AC is the only thing that produces EMF. This is why you get it when you plug the car in (from transformers converting your 120v or 240v AC into the most efficient input to the battery, which is high voltage DC - so a bunch of transformers and electronics in between), but if its not plugged in, the only EMF will be only coming from the motor (and the car's cell link in the roof) - that changing current will be very localized and focused around providing the motor torque.

Explains the different frequencies of electro magnetic radiation kzbin.info/www/bejne/aXuynoush6tgnMksi=7rZvHWnfcbfxD80k UV and above, are the only harmful frequencies. Warming is the only other effect. This is dependent on power amplitude or proximity. i.e. a microwave oven is 1000W or higher, or the sun in summer. Proximity is the same for a light bulb at the other end of a room (can see the light but not feel any heat). But if you walk up to the bulb & put your hand next to it, you'll feel it warm your hand. In the same way 5G (microwave towers) can connect to your phone 1W-5W but you can't get up close to them without it warming your body. Which can cause hot spots & damage your eyes. @RyanCowan

You need to understand what you are measuring first. Your induction cooktop is using magnetic fields (that's how it works). Totally harmless. If you're measuring radio waves (electro magnetic radiation) then this is no different than sunlight (its the same stuff). This is also harmless in low energy volumes. Until you get to Ultra violet frequencies & above, which can then be carcinogenic. Microwaves (which includes WiFi & mobile phones) are not at sufficient energy 1-2 watts to do anything and are a long way below visible light frequencies (far from the carcinogenic untra violet+ frequencies). Microwave ovens are 1000 Watts and above. There is no need to get out of an EV while it charges, or turn off your WiFi. You will find an ICE car produces far more EMR than an EV because of alternators, sparkplugs Etc.

I’ve also tested a model Y performance with similar results. I didn’t get as much RF from the heated steering wheel as you did, though… The RF from my iPhone 12 pro (apparently one of the worst models) was about 10 times higher than RF from the Tesla

Wouldn't turning your home wifi of at night cause all devices in your house to frantically search for a signal? Thus causing more interference/health hazard..

Appreciate you did the test. But the garage petrol vs battery issue was a dumb comparison. We don’t breathe co2 to survive so of course we can’t be in an enclosed space where those levels are increasing. That doesn’t equate to the rest of the earth, where plants DO need the co2. The carbon emissions scheme is so bogus. The extraordinary amount of resources required to create your Tesla battery and the child slavery currently involved in rare earth mining are regrettable. But still, I’ll give you credit for testing the EMFs.

Thank you for this video Ryan! It was very valuable and educational👍 I may now consider reducing my watching of Netflix and KZbin while charging…😢 Btw getting my own emf reader🤓 Thx again mate!

So a smartphone gets the meters readings maxed out? Or would this only be like whilst wireless charging? Also, what would happen when you increase the distance to like an arms length?
@RyanCowan
@RyanCowan 5 ай бұрын
Arms length makes a huge difference when measuring EMF. The phone wireless charging was about a 10cm radius. And yes, the iPhone intermittently still maxes out the reader when not charging. But its sporadic.

Harmless. It occured to me using a 2000w hair straightener (i.e. next to your head) if anything is worse. Its just AC current when your charging which is the same as every single appliance in your home which most.people are not bothered by and i have never really heard was particularly dangerous.
