Any concerns with the loading on the spindles and wheel bearings? Love your vids!

Good question. The mounting point and the width of the new wheel prevents any additional loading on the bearings and spindle. My off-set is very conservative give the much more positive off-set of the newer wheel. I've had zero problems.

I just recently tried this but I couldn’t put the newer rims on because the studs on the adapter for the 6 lug part are too short and doesn’t have enough threads to screw the nuts so the tire will be secure.

What size should I order in order to avoid cutting my studs ?

I believe minimum stud length is 2.25”, but you should measure to be sure.

The adapters are two piece per wheel and are custom made. I believe the entire set cost me about $600, but best to call Motorsport Tech and tell them your exact needs. The details are in the description of the video.

I have a 98 expedition with the same exact ford 20s. The website was just a little confusing since technically I need 8 pieces in all since they are 2 piece adapters lol. I just didn’t want to order too many lol

@@stunnaempire3921 you'll need to know the bolt spacing for the wheels you want to put on your truck. Your stock spacing is 5x135. If you call Motorsport Tech, they can assist you with your adapter / spacer selection as long as you know which wheels you are going with. You will also need to determine your adapter thickness. That depends on the off-set of the wheels you wish to use.

@@Void-xz9ct have had zero problems with these adapters. BORA is supposed to be the best spacer / adapter on the market. I wouldn't buy anything else.

Through my research, a proper adapter should not impact load capacity. I have not calculated this, so please ask the adapter manufacturer if you decide to purchase.

What is the center bore size of your spacers?

From my data it is 87.1mm. If you are going to buy adapters or spacers, you should verify this with the spacer manufacturer and the intended wheel you want to use.
