I'm a big man who drives small cars. On Thanksgiving day the Suburban was the small car Hertz gave me to drive to the one lane foothills outside of Sacramento. Terrified was understatement. By day two I was slightly less Terrified. The ride the quiet was great . My daughter who drives a Corolla took to it instantly. Even though she drove it like a sports car. I preferred being a passenger. It is impressive vehicle.

I’ve owned a Yukon ‘96, Suburbans ‘04 and ‘12 200k miles and still in my driveway. They were each less than $40k at purchase and I’ve never found any vehicle at any price that compares to usability and road trip availability. 7:40 I was shocked at how tall the current hood line is as well 😂. But, as much as I want it, I couldn’t bypass a ‘21 Pacifica Hybrid at $49k out the door, as the family is grown and no longer in my house. I’ll use the grandchildren as an excuse to get a ‘28 Suburban🎉. #subscribed

A happy new year, from Japan!! Very huge American car!! We cannot be owning it in Japan due to many narrow roads are everywhere. 6.2ℓ must be so great. However, we have to pay a tax once every year for which ℓ engine we have. We have to pay about 1.1K for 6.2ℓ. Can you believe it?? Strange Japan custom… That’s why only rich people can own a big engine machine. By the way, my lovely Mazda will release CX70 and CX90 for North America . It would be smaller than this but I’m looking forward to receiving review from you two.

Last year my family rented a Suburban to drive from NH to Maryland. There were 5 of us including two octogenarians, and our belongings to last a week. It happened to be the Z71 trim and the tires with taller sidewall were helpful for comfortably jumping curbs and the varying pavement conditions. It was the perfect vehicle for that. As far as the interior design, the Yukon Denali is a bit better by having the screen more integrated and not having a pocket of stupidity opposite the shifter. I personally would buy mine with the Duramax.

Speaking on not being able to see kids, ya know that happened recently with firefighters who were having a memorial walk for fallen firefighters and tragically one of the firefighter's 3yo kid who was unattended for a moment was killed by another firefighter who was attempting to park. As for the direction of the new Suburban, I'm not a fan of what they did in the rear with losing the solid rear axel also lost a lot of ground clearance, but people aren't going to overland the new stuff like they do the older ones anyway. I have no kids at all, but I fell in love with the idea of a capable Suburban overland experience that too can hall everything I may possible need for an overland adventure. I found my 2005 Suburban Z71 4x4 for just $2300 running and driving. It was such a great buy, that I looked for and found an 2007 GMC Yukon 4x4 for just $2500 also running and driving. So now I have 2 massive people haulers with no people to haul😂 I love them tho. Going for retro K10 Suburban and K5 Jimmy flavor with both builds. I will rebuild them completely and keep them forever. The AFM will be getting deleted one way or another from the Yukon. Side note: why aren't all of the AFM engines included in the GM Lawsuit? Makes no sense not to include earlier models, because AFM first came out in 2007 and it was an issue from the start. Rant over. Great review as usual Everyday Team. God's Bless!

Seems to be a great vehicle, but it's just too expensive for most people that want one of these. You are going to be at least 70k for most trims out of the dealership.
