Bill, I'm just gonna put this out there buddy. From what I've seen you must be knockin down the bucks with you channel. You go to jeggs like it's a convenience store and you pretty much buy whatever you need. What I don't see is mrs. Vicky benefiting from this. What I'd like to see is Vicky getting a nice gift and I don't mean like a part for her truck or a new weed eater. She is so valuable to let you and help you be able to race. I'm just saying. Put some thought into it and make that lovely lady cry tears of joy. Just one man's opinion.

I build up, and do the best I can with what I have. We work hard. We don’t need flashy fancy stuff, never have. We don’t go on vacations. We work every day.

No car payments 06 dually with 295k miles.no outstanding bills. Mortgage payment low . wife and kids get what they want when they ask..and I get what a need for race cars. Within reason. people just don't understand how to live properly ...buying 2021 f350s for $85,000 for $1,800 months and $500k houses $4,000 mortgage payments for no reason but to sleep and shit.

Dang man have you ever thought that that woman is content... have you ever thought that 2 kids that was raising a kid that just moved into a barn house that need work.. have you though of how country grow up in life. The work for everything they have, they also learned at a young age that if they wanted something they work hard for it. Together they have learn these life lessons. Together they learned that one leans on the other just as hard to stay upright. They learned at a young age that you have to build a strong foundation in order to build something strong. They know the value of a dollar. You think just because you probably don't know what a racing family does, but it's almost like a mini vacation everytime they go and race. Some ppl like to go to the beach and that is a vacation some ppl go to the mountains and go camping... that is a vacation. When they go out of state to race they camp. The front of the trailer is a camper... thats the reason it's so long... and not to forget they have had that trailer for years which means they used it if they had it... her truck is would cost close to 35k to buy a truck just like they have now if not more. What don't Vicki benefit from... I didn't know life was a "I'll give you this for that" type of thing when your married. Not to mention that maybe Ms Vicki don't want thing like that or she don't want stuff like that on camera? But I'm sure Ms Vicki has her own money and can do what she wants buys what she wants. She kinds seems like the type of woman that would be pissed off if you spent alot of money on something for her. Both Bill and Vicki are one to be flashy... no one's to help someone and blast is on social media..... they are the humble ppl that help anyone and everyone... put others before them their family mainly... if I know bill he has something slick planned for Ms Vicki this summer that's goin to knock her socks off. Maybe something beneath you and you would never do something like it. Doubt it will be big bucks. But it's goin to blow her mind take her breath fill her heart with love/joy and her eyes tear up, because it's who it came from and what it represents... thats what's important. Racing circle track, on dirt with a GM rear end, well as you can imagine, I went through many used broken axles. My Dad , who used to race modifieds back in the 50's, would clean the axles, and paint a straight 3/4" white line along the length of the axle. This indicated how many twists were in the axle before they failed. Periodical maintenance, would have me pulling the axles, with 3 twists of the axle meant it was about to break. Dads are Full of helpful tidbits of simple knowledge, I took for granted at the time, but I'm glad I paid attention. This Show reminds me these things over and over as I watch it. Thanks for sharing. That is a trick for truck pullers also. My dad taught me a boatload of stuff also. I only hope I'm doing okay with my daughters; they are great with oil changes and letting me know how their cars are doing so maybe I am. Take Care and God Bless

I wish moms house was closer to you and we’d let Kenny get in it but it would be an hour or more away. We didn’t want to sell it but it’s too big of a risk to rent it when none of us are close enough to keep eyes on it so I think we are gonna just go ahead and sell unfortunately. The more I look at the pic of the Malibu on the rollback, that hood did nothing but improve the looks of the car! It is just enough rise that really compliments the car and completes the look where the factory missed their opportunity to really shine. What an amazing difference! I’m still laughing at the guy that said if you put a cowl hood on there that he was gonna unsubscribe, lol, I need to find it and see if he’s a man of his word or not, lol Have a great weekend Bill! I've had a lot of G bodies over the years. I had a similar 355 combination and the best e.t. was 12.25 but I always disappointed the cars are just heavy in full street trim. I changed to a 383 for some more torque with the same top end combination and the car picked right up to 11.60 so since on new builds I've always built strokers to help get where I wanted to be Then I added a 125 shot and ran 10.90s so I really enjoy what your doing because I had the same goals and fought the same struggles with on g body's.... Rearends ughhhh a 12 bolt fixed my headache

The reason I subscribe and check in everyday is because of the sense of community you all have built and maintained over the yrs. And now, vicariously, you allow your viewers to belong to that fraternity as well. Friends and family helping friends and family when they see a need or dropping what they are doing and lending a hand and doing what they can when the phone rings. I think a lot of your viewers are like that too and I feel like if there is some place close by their current house, someone will make a call and hook Kenny, Harley and the kids up! Wish I lived closer and knew the people in the area but such is not the case.

I’ve been 9.81 with a bone stock, 10 bolt. Welded the diff. Around the 100th pass, i was at a radial prepped track, on slicks. When i let the button go it never ever moved.

Weight makes a difference too as does which 10 bolt you have. I've never heard of a small 10 bolt going that quick but I've heard of the big 10 bolts doing that.

Put a quick disconnect fitting on the air tank Of the truck which allows you to air up tires , but in a situation where the truck breaks down or won't start or you need to pull start it You can use the quick disconnect fitting to air it up and release the brakes

You have 4.10's in there now if I remember right, try 4.56's and you will feel a lot better. I had a 350 in a 70 Nova with stock 4.10's / 4 speed back in the day and it always seemed like it was struggling, just putting it into 4th just before the traps switched to 4.56's and it woke up! Then I built a 70 Nova with a 396/375 (402) and I really with 4.88's. Regardless, you have everything right, so it is in the gearing match-up somewhere! :)

Bill, My buddy has a 1987 Montecarlo SS 350 sm block ZZ4 crate engine ( long block) with 750 holly carb , 700r4 , 12 bolt rear 3.73 gears , upper and lower rear suspension arms and shocks all way around. The car ran best of 13.3 at 103mph . He installed a BM roots type blower on engine and 5psi pulley. He had it dyno & tuned ( carb & timing) made 495 hp. Return to track car made personal best of 12.05 at 113mph . That's it. He been to track and with no other changes he can't get past 12's. The car is a very heavy car at 3300lbs ( no driver ) that the best we can expect with the weight of the car without more power. I'm pretty sure Malibu is around 3100lbs ( no driver ) factory weight. So that car isn't too light either. I think that's the best the little small block is going to do on motor unless you spice her up more. Regardless 12.50's on motor is dam good for the cube inches your running......

But hey it broke you got it fixed you're rolling going to go have some fun this weekend that's all that matters! As far as Kenny and Harley go and the kids it is absolutely awful what happened to their landlord and it absolutely is awful that they're going to have to find a new place to live! That being said you know as well as I do that when one door closes another one will be opened and they don't need to get themselves all upset have the anxiety go through the roof they will be okay I guarantee it! They're good people they will be okay they won't be homeless I know they won't! Bill ...I bought my rearend for my 79 regal from Quick Performance!!!! It was Ford 9in they built to bolt right in Regal, even put Chevy bolt pattern on the 31 spline axles.....paid like $800 for housing n axles with HD axle tubes and got pumpkin from buddy with 3.90 gear!!!! It will stand up to spray 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

A little suggesting with radiator hoses put 2 hose clamps on the hoses we had to do that on round track cars. Believe me it works. Love videos love the journey.

The explorer 8.8 is plentiful for cheap and you can find a 4.11 gear with a factory “ locker”. I got one for $175 about a year ago.

Yup same we got ours like 6Yrs ago You can find them in a Eddie Bauer edition Ford Explorer that’s where we got ours has disc brakes and 3:73 posi👌🏼there pretty strong for stock too

It'd be a little quicker with that than a 9" too since it has less rotational mass and weighs less over all

@@lb9gta307 It's not so much rotational mass that robs power in a Ford 9"... It's the location of the pinion gear (it sits lower in relation to the ring gear) that really kills it's efficiency. Could be 15-20hp in this car's case. Also, could put a 12 bolt or the "large" 10 bolt in it just as easily, but I agree the 8.8's are good and easy to find.

Iam back uncle Bucko is right on with go cart ! I have my muscle cars but I love my go carts and mini bikes ! The first thing us old hot Rodders had as a child ! Iam building a 212 hemi with a cam billet rod and flywheel suppose to make 12hp awesome fun times. Then I will work on my high school sons beautiful 1989 Ford LX 5.0 convt mustang.
