I worked at McDonald's for 10 years and from experience, since they don't do birthday parties anymore, most of the locations that have cake also have the play place. That's your best bet of finding one that carries them. They also have socks most of the time.

I've heard that the cakes are actually for the people working there (for their birthdays), but they'll sell them if you want to.

@000euMJ no 🤣 mcdonalds honestly could care less if it's your birthday. It's just another day to them. I got one single cake the whole time I worked there and it was shared with a coworker with the same birthday, handmade by one of the other coworkers. McDonald's sucks

I worked at McDonald's. The chocolate cake IS the one you want. Haven't had one for years, but it used to be FABULOUS. Better with ice cream, but hey...the machine is probably broken! 😂

I had a birthday party at mcdonalds when i was 6 lol i had a cake!!!! As the birthday girl, one of the employees gave me a tour of the staff area, i got to push the button the start the fryer, scoop fries into a box, we played in the play room, and they sing you happy birthday with the cake.

I worked at McDonald's during college, while getting my Teaching Degree. Since I was good with kids I ended up working most of the parties. In the 80's having a kid's party at a McDonald's which had the playground was very popular. The kids got a Happy Meal with orange soda and then had the McDonald's cake. We always had 4 in the freezer, 2 chocolate and 2 vanilla. You would just put it in the fridge the day before. If you don't work any parties, pretty sure you would never know they even have cake.

to answer your question as to why we don't replace the bad oils for the good ones, it's because the bad oils are cheap. for companies to start using the good oils, they'd mark up their prices so they'd make profit to compensate for the money they spend on the good oils. there's a reason why the regular sunflower oil is so cheap compared to olive oil

it's not oxygen in the bags. at least with chip bags, they put nitrogen gas, as it protects them from being all crushed up but it also prevents them from going stale. so that's probably the same with the animal crackers. it's probably the same with most sealed bagged goods, and that's why they're only half full

@Raphael Gomes You should watch the Food Theory video did a while ago. They went into why there is air in a bag of chips/cookies/etc. Granted companies do take advantage to put more air that is needed in there, but no matter what there will unfortunately always be a notable amount on air in a bag. The video explains it better.

wierdly enough, the cotton candy flavoring isn't added to the grapes after the fact like I thought, it comes naturally. If you were to pull one strait off the vine, it will taste just the same. I think it might have something to do with the water used to grow them. I met someone from the farm once, and asked about it.
