Lets do a check of the hydraulic pump pressure to see if the hydraulics work correctly or not. I need more lift capacity!

Hi Lisa, It looks like you have good pressure (2100 psi) from what I could see. These old tractors can be temperamental with their hydraulic systems, my tractors are always creeping down even after replacing the piston, piston seal, and cylinder. I guess that is what you can expect when trying to keep the old machines running. All the best, Ken

Yes it is hars to get a giod quality control valve i did swap mine for a spare that i had which really helped after the piston seal was replaced but there will be wear in the valve chest. Dont know how much it costs to have the valve chest machined over size and a new spool made to fit it?

Hi Lisa, The pressure gauge you are using is not designed to seal on the threads. You may need a tapered thread pressure gauge or a different adapter. Google search "Pressure Gauge Know-How: Difference Between NPT and G Connections". Cheers, Paul.

Hi Paul. The gauge is bspp but i cannot find a satisfactory adaptor. The hydraulic company provided the gauge and connector. They advised to loctite it together. Maybe i can install a copper or aluminium washer on the flat face to seal it? If you have any links to products that will be great
