Wow! This is GREAT information. What would you say to someone like myself? I am from a place that has reciprocity with no one (Not California-Virgin Islnds). I was once a resident of Texas, but visit no less than three times a year “Pre-Covid”. I took an online LTC 101 portion for the purpose of getting my Texas LTC 100. I will be coming to Texas at the end of the month for the shooting portion. Is this a good way to go?

Not sure where you live, but you typically want your residence state license for sure. As far as you taking the previous training, online course is LTC 101 and in person course is LTC 100. If you have an LTC 101 already and it's less than a year old, then all you need to do is the range test. If its older than 12 months from date of issue, you have to retake the course too.

I have my CCW in the US Virgin Islands. I just passed the online test in February 2021. So I’ll be there 1st week in May to take the range test.
