@@marial3609please don’t say that. You just put a mountain of guilt on this grieving mother who is already crumbling under the weight of losing her child. And guilt is a huge part of it anyway. I lost my daughter two years ago and am completely ruined. She had lived with intact family with my husband/her father her whole life. We are suffocating in grief and guilt is unavoidable. Just the sheer fact that she was supposed to be here and isn’t but we are is too much to carry. For the sake of this mother, please take down your comment. We are often suicidal as well. You never know what life brings. God bless.

@@denisesalles7248 IMO the quote this post meant was by pharma (big pharma) all are deceived, Since Sackler decided to addict the world with Oxy (which he KNEW was highly addictive) and created the market for thus poison, the problem is now global. I am so thankful my kids were raised and mature before social media because my son would have been one of these stories and I would be making a video and the story would be 'he got it from a friend and thought it was insert whatever (Xanex, Percocet, etc)'. 😢 SHE WAS A CHILD!!!!! Not someone who was an addict. And, even those who are addicts in active or past tense THEY don't deserve to die. Nothing is safe anymore. My son had a friend who bought weed off another friend....and it was laced fentynal. He died. He had no idea. California may have made MJ legal....but these teenagers can't enter dispensary. And, it's technology not really legal. But the one from the streets......are NOT SAFE. CA needs laws to change regarding drugs. These youths are looking for weed, xanax, and those ARE ALSO NOT SAFE. There's a video posted on this page of a young individual who took half of pill of xanax. And it wasn't xanax. It was 90% fentynal. People who don't use heroin will DIE from fentanyl in matter of seconds.

I admire everything you’ve done and continue to do to make changes to this pandemic that’s effecting so many all around the world. Yes, but can be easily missed - I know because somebody convinced Kameron she could 'release her inner pain' by cutting. She did it and because we were at the barn with the horses she had to urinate in a stall, in the open and I saw what looked like a box cutter had sliced her inner thigh and knew from the location it was no accident Had it not been for the horses and the fact I have always never had an issue with urinating in a stall, she had seen me and gotten so comfortable about it, Kam forgot I would see the marks and find out. Had it been a bathroom with a door, I would not have seen the marks. There were no other cuts anywhere else on her body and in the summer wore as little clothing as she could get away with. What an extraordinary woman, mother and ambassador for a tragic phenomenon. If anyone can effect change, it's definitely you. Articulate, intelligent and motivated with an unrivaled motivation... I'm truly saddened by the loss of your precious daughter...Bring justice forward, I'm sure your baby is right by your side... I'm also sure she's going to be your number one fan, every step of the way

Let me say first that you are an eloguent speaker and very intelligent so it's no wonder Jewel was a gem. She seemed loving, caring and one that loved to be on stage and entertain. I almost cried as you described your love for her and her brother and of all things you didn't ever expect her passing at 15. Just unbelievable that our children are dying bc of one pill. Good for you becoming an advocate to stop these murders which is what they are. Keep fighting and if you can save one life it is worth it.

I’m in Fair oaks, in Sacramento county. My dad died of a fentanyl overdose. Yes, he was an opiate addict the majority of my life but he didn’t want to die… His dealer was in Rocklin. Nothing happened to him. We were told nothing could be done. My dad lost his life. But… it got me sober. But my dad lived his life- this poor young woman and so many young people, do not get to even begin really living life. I hope more and more are prosecuted for fentanyl poisoning. I’m glad someone was held accountable in this case.

This truly breaks my heart! The tears are pouring! This mom is so grave for telling her baby girl’s story. I know first hand; my brother passed of a fentanyl and heiron overdose in 2018. Approximately four months later I read my brother’s autopsy report and I was so out done! He had enough fentanyl in his system to kill a moose. I actually needed mental therapy shortly thereafter in order to deal with reality. Mom you’re doing the right thing in getting her story out there. You are your daughter’s biggest cheerleader.

This just breaks my heart and makes me sick. Seems anyone rarely pays for giving these kids this poisoning. I saw this week where they arrested the people around the Matthew Perry death. People shouldn't have to be famous to get justice for their child being murdered by fentanyl, that they didn't know they were taking. If they can arrest and get a conviction for stuff like what happened to Matthew Perry and Micheal Jackson, they can for fentanyl poisoning.

What ticks me off is the dude overdosed on Ketamine which back in the day we used to euthanize horses and you would have to be insane to use on your own, wrote about his addiction issues, would never have been 'loved except for a TV show, had the resources he did and there are 5 arrests in a few months and how many tax dollars spent to facilitate the investigation, but nobody lifts a finger to stop this poison! Compare the number of people who have died in CA in 24 from an overdose of this and Ketamine, which is the bigger problem and where you want to focus LE and tax $$$$. IMO, Perry was another MJ with his 'milk' and purchased Dr. My heart aches for this mother and all of the families making these videos. What is worse us I know next week there will be another new heart wrenching story.

It’s important for the parents to tell here about their kids journey with the drugs. How and when did she start with the addiction? Who did sell the drugs to her? , how was the sentence the person who sold the drugs got in prison ?. Sharing the details will help other parents to look for red flags .
