In 1986, my Aunt worked from home with EDS while battling cancer almost all the way until the end. During that time there, my mom had answered the phone and handed the phone off to my Aunt not knowing who it was. It was Ross Perot checking on her and how she was doing with things and he told her all her hospital/chemo bills would be taken care of by him. As of a week ago, she passed 35 years ago. Ross Perot 100% Class Act!

@Mike-ul7of6 ай бұрын
wasn’t a mistake to believe in something you love.
@UKSportsFan5 ай бұрын
Actually, his only mistake was dropping out of the presidential race a few months before the election and then re-entering it about a month before the election. He was leading in the polls at the time, and I had been convinced enough that I was going to support him. But I, and I'm sure most others, just couldn't vote for him once he dropped out... even though he re-entered. The job of POTUS is too important to vote for someone who drops out of the race before the race is over. Too bad, really....he would have been much better than Clinton or Bush. Still got 20% of the vote.

Mr. Perot was laughed at, scoffed and ridiculed, but he was RIGHT! I heard and saw that giant sucking sound as I later drove down Van Dyke, Groesbeck and Gratiot in Detroit, MI. In the 60's, 70's and 80's those streets were booming with tool and dye shops, always busy and humming. I had neighbors who were tool makers, who had great jobs. Then one day after we signed NAFTA, they were all gone! All that work left for Mexico and China and we lost our country. We all knew what the elites had done to us and we all knew we would never be the same. My family voted for Mr. Perot because we looked behind the curtain. I was working contract at GM at the time and GM hated him when GM bought EDS. He made his people work, have accountability and have dress codes while GM thrived on nepotism, kissing up to the boss and hiding to get out of work.

His hatred of Bush, while deserved, drove him to enter the race...but I'm not sure he was a plant. When he dropped out, I (and a lot of people) wondered if that was the case, but sadly we'll never know for sure. One thing is for sure, though....he would have been a better POTUS for America than either Clinton or Bush.
