I seen like 10 different barber/haircut vids today and by far this is my favorite. The final cut and style is on point. Thanks for sharing

My brother has this very stick straight hair with a super strong growth pattern and I’ve had to learn my men’s cutting on him! This was helpful to add to doing with his hair. Thank you!

Yo Bossio, you sir are a master of your craft I've said it before. My son is part Asian with same hair texture. Very stubborn type. I've always faded him up proper, and yes very unforgiving, dark spots are harder to get out, and clipper or scissor over comb is a must. Now he wants to keep more length and texture like your client here. Barbers have a hard time with this look he wants. But you knock it out the park. The taper in the back sets it apart imo. I just might try this next time. Btw I'm just a shade tree not a barber. Excellent work. thank you for great content.

Salute Mr . Bossio... I got a question , is shear over comb really more effective than clipper over comb? Or is just a way for a barber to show off his skillz ?.... Personnaly I get better résults with shear and fingers or clipper over comb than shears over comb ( maybe my tech is not on point but I master the one blade mouvement ...)

Great cut Chris. Just wondering, how are you working through the higher numbers on the fade? Are you using an open guard at all? If so, are you moving from a 4 to a 3 closed and then opening up the 3? Or just straight down?

Chris I was wonderin why you chose to fade 1-4 as opposed to using a 1 or 1.5 and clipper over comb the rest of the way.. Is it to create gradiency a little easier?
@Bossiocuts6 жыл бұрын
Yes I can control gradiency much more.. a big flat comb won’t take into considereation indents and the color tone issues you can run into with it

@drunkenmaster894675 жыл бұрын
Hey Chris Bossio, I got a question because i have this type of hair. I have a problem with cutting the sides to a #4 because i feel like if I leave it that long it makes my head look wide because my head is already wide plus I got a square head shape haha. How do I deal with this i do a number 8 on top and a .5 guard halfway open on the sides. i start the sides not with a 4 but a 2 opened to get it short enough. My corners are too sharp and make my head pretty square.

The reason barbers are paying attention is because the cost of haircuts has increased dramatically. From $5 lineups to $8 lineups, from $10 fades to $20+. Truth be told that increase has also made many people learn to cut their own hair and pickup some Color Pros at Walmart for $25 bucks. Barbers and clients should always have a good relationship but some barbers have ruined that big time. Playing offensive music at the barber shops even in front of little children, cursing and sharing perverted stories in front of clients , coarse joking, showing rap music videos with curse words and sexual content and drinking beer and smoking weed at the shop! That's a recipe for disaster. I picked up my clippers and learned from barbers on KZbin like 360 Jeezy and others and I'm done with barber shops. I'm not 100% good at fading yet but I know I prefer to do it myself than deal with those issues at the shops.
