thats because the MAIN problem to ANY sort of "zero to hero" series is the donations, shit starts off smooth then 80 different people start donating hundreds of items

New start I found: 1. Find a cheap pro ks kit fab on stn ( normal weapon or cheap cosmetic) 2. Quickly calculate the total price for the parts 3. Usually profit ( 3~5 refs or above ) 4. Repeat Usually there are 24 mvm parts which spans roughly over 26 refs and 1 ks is around 15 refs cheapest. Anything pro ks selling for 50 refs is profit. Almost every single fab I encountered is profit. Takes only like 10 mins each time

This series fully encapsulates the struggles of trading up. In theory, yes, you can easily make profit simply by ferrying items between sites. In reality, everything will go wrong. Bots won't have metal, or refuse to accept your offer if they do. Human traders will bump listings for items they've already sold, or ignore your offers. Scrap TF will hold you in the queue for an hour or more. Even when things all line up, the items you want are bought up in the few moments you take to click on them. By the end of it, you find out that those Horrible Horns that you spent half a key on to flip for a ref of profit only has that one buy order from a bot that's flat broke. So now you're stuck with it, and don't have the metal to get anything else because you spent it all on the Horrible Horns. That's just the low-tier market. Trading keys is even worse.

I probably won't do mvm since that's way less likely to get something good, only reason I gambled at all was because A. It makes the series slightly more entertaining and B. I actually had very good chances of making profit. Otherwise I'm not going to do it, because I don't want my audience to just constantly gamble either so I want to show more likely methods that you can get a lot more profit out of that anyone can do. If I unboxed a unusual for example I wouldn't even count it towards the series because it would end too fast
