I was a big admirer of TF2 EXACTLY because of the random crits. This is what makes this game unique - no need to rely only on pure skill and hence there's also no need to take any losses in the game seriously. I do not understand people who want to take away the TF2 random crits. It seems to me though such people don't want to play, they want to win.
