Honestly loved watching this series, as a big Finale you guys should have one last episode of Yugi-No to Yugi-Pro battle but both of you make a deck of your choice to finish it out.

I absolutely loved this series, seeing Sam grow from No to Pro was SUCH a pleasure. Sharing his joy as he got to understand each card, as he got to make his plays and even as he got his first wins. Excellent. TGS, please think about having Sam come back. There are so many ways you could do this! You could have duels with new decks or booster packs that come out, you could have themed duels for fun. You have amazing archetype videos. Perhaps have us vote on which archetypes you are both allowed to use and duel each other! It was super helpful to watch as someone picking up the game! To Sam the Yugioh Student, well done on all your learning! Two years sure flew by for you but I've been binge watching these over the past few couple of weeks and it has been a blast. I am so glad to hear that you're enjoying yourself more! Please keep having fun and playing to your heart's content. All the best to you both, you played amazingly and I can tell you're great friends. Take care and be safe!

Wow, this was an amazing journey, an amazing series really. I dropped out of YuGiOh after the fusion era, and tbh have never liked any of this extra deck business. But after this series, and seeing a newbie go through them and having the same sorts of concerns I would've had, its honestly really inspiring and it looks like a ton of fun. Thanks so much for bringing this experience to your audience, I absolutely loved it. I'm definitely excited to try out some more modern summoning strategies after having watched this. It would be nice to see one final duel with Sam, like the very first one where you both build a deck from a set of cards to see how he puts it all together. But if not, still an amazing series, thanks again!
@deviwaazaa4 жыл бұрын
I really hope we get a finale type episode where you have Sam make an actual proper deck, using whatever of the summoning mechanics he likes. It'd be a great to way to show how far he's come, and demonstrate what modern yugioh is like

My favourite extra deck monster type is by far XYZ. They're the easiest to summon usually, and any deck can run them, no special cards needed (like polymerization or a tuner). Links are fine too, they're also easy to get on board. I just really hate it when a card has a whole novel written on it, some XYZ's are especially guilty of this, but pendulums are the #1 worst offender.

I think I’ve got is deciphered. Ok so you have one “maximum” monster. While it’s on the field. It’s basically a normal effect monster But when it’s MAXIMUM summoned: it gains new effects. Maximum summoning can be achieved by having certain criteria of monsters on the field (max monsters are most likely going to be a main deck thing, like pendulums and rituals) so think of it like this A ritual fusion monster that has union monsters equipped to it that act as fusion materials and are in the main monster zone Take this with a grain of salt. I’m Just watching the scene over and over again. That’s what I got from it

We still don't have a Pendulum-Link and Pendulum-Rituals monster😆 there's a lot more coming than we know, like Banishment-Ritual which is useful for Token Decks🤷♂ Toon monsters need an Extra Deck boss monster to nerf meta Decks, Egyptian God cards and Earthbound cards needs to be upgraded even more, so their God-Like presence in the anime is the same as irl, honestly Konami doesn't have to keep on making new Archetypes they just need to improve old ones, like Yubel💖💯💯

Honestly, I think for my rankings I would put: Link > Xyz > Ritual > Pendulum > Fusion (including Contact Fusion) > Synchro Synchro Summoning has always been a bit clunky to me, and is much easier to interrupt than Xyz for example. Fusion has had a lot of powercreep over the years (non-Effect Fusion -> Effect Fusion -> Contact Fusion, "Instant Fusion" targets), and is sometimes easy to perform, perhaps too easy. Pendulum was confusing to learn, but now that I understand it well, I actually realize that it's one of the most rewarding to understand and play. Ritual Summoning was probably the slowest for Konami to develop because it's one of the only non-Extra Deck mechanics, and only recently have we started moving to Ritual Summoning from the Deck and Ritual Summoning without the usage of Levels. Xyz is simple enough to do, but perhaps is one of the most powerful because of the rank-up magic Spells getting some cards banned, and some cards just allowing you to stack them on top of a previous Xyz monster without matching levels. I use it a lot in certain decks more than others, but I always consider it as an option. Link Summoning is still my favorite because it's so fluid, and now that it's not restricting us as it was in MR4, I like it even more.
@BramLastname4 жыл бұрын
I'd like to see him play Fluffles or something, Maybe let him build his deck himself, Something like that. I've been deck building in EDO Pro to get familiar with different decks and strategies, And see why I like certain decks. Also while I prefer the way Synchros and Xyz work, Most decks I like are Fusion based, Which is kinda odd, but I don't mind.
