when I was a kid I didn't even know that I was eating innards in the fiery beef hotpot. Loved the rubbery texture because it felt like the meal lasted longer by chewing on them. I also loved how your wife gets to speak more in the video

Another job well done Mark and Ying on the video(I see you Dwight). I know exactly where that pier is for the boat ride, amazing view! I enjoy walking the markets too and meeting/interacting with the vendors. It's my favorite part of traveling and the food of course. I have seen blocks of ice DRAGGED across very filthy looking floors then used for patrons; and diners, drinks (and desserts!!) which I can only just imagine might make everyone very, very, very ill .....

Adding morning glory & fried garlic helps cut down on the sweetness of the broth....I also ordered their dry noodles to go with the hot pot...basically is noodles with fried garlic & oil... it was so tasty and goes really well with the beef

In India especially in West Bengal and even in Bangladesh the wood apple is called "koyet bel/kot bel" in Bangla.Its very sour in taste.And we eat it like a street side pickle mixer with sugar,salt,chilli and chopped corriendar leaves.Its a mouth watering pickle.
