Thai coconut pudding or Kanom Tuay, This dessert literally means “dessert in a small bowl” Kanom means dessert and Tuay means bowl. Kanom Tuay ( ขนมถ้วย) is a Thai dessert that consists of two parts of a sweet base with a pudding like texture and a salty creamy of the thick coconut cream on top. A top and bottom layer which come together to create a delicious sweet and salty flavor. Kanom Tuay can be found around Thailand but mostly as a dessert option in restaurants and noodle shops. Ingredients
(Top Layer)
½ cup rice flour
2 cups coconut milk
½ Tsp salt
(Bottom Layer)
2 cups rice flour
1 Tbsp tapioca starch
1½ cups palm sugar
3 cups Pandan extract (20-25 Pandan leaves + 650 g Water)
