This is actually a southern style, srivijaya dance but the music sound northern.

@@PleaseDonateTortoise i’m guessing you have no knowledge of thai dances. this dance is called “ ระบำศรีวิชัย”- Srivijaya dance which is one out of five historical dances composed by the fine arts department, the music however is played using northern thai ensemble.

Sure, because this is Sri Vijaya dance which is an ancient empire of Indonesia, Malaysia and Southern Thailand. No wonder that’s why it similar to Javanese style. And you should know that Thailand doesn’t have only one culture but we have diversity of cultures so we have a lot of ancient dances such as Dvaravati, Lopburi, Sri Jayasingh, Sukhothai and Chiangsaen dance. You can search by yourself.
