I live in Maine and grow my lemongrass, have a makrut lime tree I grow indoors during the winter, and I buy galangal online. Gotta get my Thai fix!

While watching the beginning I forgot this was a Milkstreet video. It was beautiful. I have to make some of these. Hope they are in your books.

Been to Thailand many times over the years. (We have Thai friends there). It is a very long trip but well worth it! Gonna have to make my own coconut cream. Great tip. Thanks!

You would think Milk Street could occasionally throw in a free recipe now and again, even if just for a limited time.

Hi...there's also coconut "manna" which is analogous to peanut butter made with whole coconut. It is delicious! But I didn't know what to do with it besides eat it out of the jar or put some in a smoothie. Then recently I was experimenting with making sugarless (use allulose and unsweetened chocolate) flourless brownies. They were good dark chocolatey, but needed *just* a touch more sweetness. I warmed coconut manna, added lemon zest and just a teaspoon of honey. It will thin with a bit of water. It's the easiest frosting/glaze in the world, and perfect!

6:46 Love the recipes ... but wondering why this man is gently tapping the lemongrass as though it's a baby's head?

They used to do that! Up until a couple months ago I could view the recipes from the most recent episode for few days after it aired. Guess they are copying ATK.

Never eat from a stall whose workers don't use hairnets. I wouldn't want that girl's hair in my food!
