Sorry to break this tonyou. But Pita is a US puppet, just like Matcos Jr. of PH. He wants to radically change Thailand to become like US republic and will lead Thailand to get into US proxy war with China. The main reason why Thailand has many returned visitors is because of their traditional values, the easy going way of living, the cost of living, etc. Pita and his puppet masters want to bring in millions of immigrants, want to create a socialism in the country and they copy everything from the USA's democrats playbook.

People love going to Thailand for the people, beaches, food, Thai cultureits affordable and the fact the left handed ciggarettes are legal. The age of tourist entering Thailand would be interesting statistic as wel as the amount of tourist after people are no longer able smoke from the left hand. I visited Thailand for the first time last summer and i am not a smoker. I had a fabulous time, but predict things will change in tourism from 2025. Just a thought.

Why would anyone not travel to Thailand? It's a fantastic country, the people are friendly, the FOOD is FANTASTIC, the historical sites are amazing, the mountains and seas are beautiful, and Tim Newton lives there. Furthermore, as an Afro-Caribbean person, I feel safer there versus USA, Europe and Australia, and, I found some good Jamaican restaurants in Khrung Thep. Plus, I speak Thai or attempting to speak it.

Glitches abound lately. Since I’m a dinosaur on these things I’m at a loss too! Grab a young person 😝. I daresay many of us seek living vs existing. When I’m working just for shelter it’s a no go for any good since no balance. It’s been this way for aeons and we’re ALL beyond tired of it! As an empath it’s the energy I read, I’m certain there’s many with ‘the world is ending let’s go’ attitude prevailing. I get it. The energy here in the states is too much with election and voting between an orange clown and a manically laughing liar. I’d give my last penny to move from here lol. Meh 🫤 the beach beckons me but alas being here I’m landlocked, with little money oh well. Perhaps I’ll play the lottery🤪🙏🏻😎
@PaulinAsia_2 күн бұрын
Because it is cheaper than holidaying in your own country. The people are more friendly. Value for your holiday is much much better. And instead of returning to work quickly to recoup your holiday spending, you can return home happy and fulfilled with your Thailand adventure.

Thailand pros: relatively affordable housing in beautiful locations, beautiful laidback people, diverse industries outside the tourist economy. Rich, complex culture. Generally safe environment, low crime. Thailand cons: increasingly precarious position with the climate crisis, particularly in the South, but now also affecting the north, making long term settlement somewhat risky. Plus growing deglobalization, regionalization of trade. If the borders begin to close and air fares increase 2-3 fold, that's the end of the mass tourism. My personal verdict: enjoy while it lasts.

I’m from the UK and recently spent a month in LOS. Saw a lot of Brits on my travels ,a lot on Samui and K. Phangan. Don’t know why people think we re not travelling any more? I bumped into quite a few and my flight from Edinburgh funnily enough…lol, to Krabi via BKK. Krabi was shite so I rented a car for the month for £2K from Krabi airport and drove over the nice side of the isthmus. I got to say the drive from Krabi is quite spectacular for a while. But Samui was fantastic, still the best place in the country for me. Khanom has died a death, don’t know why someone doesn’t make a tourist attraction there of some description to lure tourists, but it’s just dead there. The beach is still spectacular tho.
@MrORANGEMAN19662 күн бұрын
The reason people keep coming back to Thailand is because you can get a a 5 star hotel room for $75 dollars in Southern Europe it’s more like $600 dollars that’s the main reason then it’s the abundance of easy women.
@WahPreua2 күн бұрын
I went to a tourist spot lately, Krabi to be precise, where I stayed at a pretty nice hotel with great rooms and swimming pool etc. What let the place down was the bar area and the BURMESE staff more interested in their phones than in the customers at the bar. The layout of the bar was weird as it was designed as a pool bar, and the non pool part of the bar was 2 meters above so staff had to walk out and up stairs to give you a drink. Getting their attention was difficult. The influx of non-Thai workers is damaging tourism, and Ao Nang was pretty much rubbish so we left the next day.

Hi Tim just like to make one observation your comment on western retiree pensions going much further here in Thailand, you need to clarify state or private. For example a full UK pension is nowhere near the yearly or monthly requirement for the visa alone! Without a lucrative private scheme or private funds Thailand is out of the question for most Uk pensioners, before daily necessities are considered on top ie. Food accommodation. etc

I'm going to go with your reason for the Thai tourism popularity being "the vibe". I went to Berlin in 2014 and really liked it. I first came to Thailand, Bangkok, in 2015 and liked it better. I'm going to say that a part of the vibe is Asian culture. When I think back to Europe I'm thinking that it is too familiar. Thailand just felt very different and surprising. I was really surprised as how modern and nice Bangkok was. I moved to Thailand in 2017 and now, nearly 10 years later, I still find Thailand to be very different than what I am used to in a good way.
