I have been following this channel since the beginning, and i have to say for me your videos are the most educated videos on KZbin for filming. I love every video you post and it has made me make some serious decisions based on you expert opinions on cameras, coloring, shooting on a budget, understanding RAW profiles. You make is so understandable for individuals like myself. I have shared your videos on facebook on multiple occasions and will continue supporting this channel. If for some miracle reason I am to win one of your giveaways please pass it on to the next person. this channel benefits me and the people I share this with more than any prize you could ever offer.THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS.

Whoa! That Samsung T5 is 😍! Amazing, it’s on my wishlist! I love how you really take time on the edit and the way you lay down all the details on your talk. I can’t recommend anything about that, you’re a pro there! For you asking for suggestions and ideas simply means you really care about your audience and is hungry to improve your craft, that’s admirable! So despite not being in position to suggest or anything, I’d love to see you tackle some practical topics on how you do your shoots in the field. Like if there are some guidelines you follow to make your work look consistently good, and also some good practices that pros like you do that most beginners often neglect. Thank you for sharing your knowledge to us, it’s nice to see REAL PROFESSIONALS on KZbin. We are learning a lot from you guys!

I recently got my S1H after saving for a bit of time . I spent months wanting to buy the blackmagic 6K. Then I came across the s1h and watched another million videos about it but watching your 2 lengthy honest videos about the S1H made me run for it . I couldn’t be happier with it! Ps: something else that this video has made me feel better about is the Lexar SD cards . I spent a dime on a Sandisk 64gb uhs-2 since I didn’t trust the lexars cards after reading a couple of bad reviews lol but you word definitely have a lot of power on my decisions and now I’m feeling much more at ease getting some lexar cards for the s1h. I much rather watch one of your well thought / made videos that are obviously time consuming than just having a vlog style video that does not go deep enough. Having that in mind I think you post in the right amount. As for suggestions, maybe some more behind the scenes of your work, showing reel world challenges and decisions about gear, lighting, work process etc. I am sure that can be time consuming as well, but maybe you can turn slice them into several short videos and maybe tackle your need for more posts. Again I don't mind the length or the amount of uploads in your channel. Keep up the good work and happy new year. My new year would sure be better owning a T5 😁 Cheers

Great content so far. I quite like how you cover subject matters that some other KZbinrs haven't covered such as the relatively unknown features of the s1h. My suggestion is to keep doing these rather less talked about subject matters to get a different perspective on things.

OOh im soo glad I found you channel! i'd suggest you to make more videos in regards to your worklflow and maybe also a bit more meta-videos with stuff like "how to make it as a DP", "how to know and set a fair price for your work-time". I'd also really like it if you could make a video-series in regards to testing equopment. your s1h and blackmagic vids are soo deliciously technical compared to others. and lastly, if you are able to make technical analisys of sony gear, that would be awesome! happy new years!

First of all. I love your channel. It really outstands from others in the way you explain things and convey you know what you are talking about. As a suggestion. I think it would be great if you talked a little bit more about the creation process itself. By this, I mean advice about cinematography. How to tackle a script, what is your process to pick up shots or deal with a particular scenes, etc. Very few channels actually take care of this (most of them talk about gear) and you really strike me like the kind of guy that would nail it. Cheers and keep up eith the good work!!

I sure could use that T5. That said, make a video about when to use a rental shop. I rent HMI lights when I need above 800 Joker (1200, 2.5k or 4k par can make a big difference in how big a shot can be thus allowing for a true establishing shot or night X)

Wonderful! I have just transition from Wildlife Photography to Wildlife Cinematography. That 1TB SSD would be very useful! Keep it up man! For recommendations, this is something i personally feel it will make the videos better. Humans we mostly like constant motion in a video. Your videos are awesome with technical explanation, especially when you use computer graphics, like my favourite videos talking about the blackmagic 6k and 4k. However, when explaining, there are moments when there is no motion at all for up to a full 6 seconds. You can overcome this by simply adding your face when explaining. This would make your videos a lot more exciting to the eyes i believe.

Hi Sherif, Thank you is the least I can say for putting up all this incredible content in 2019. It’s been one of the real highlights of my YT journey I can honestly say. Wishing you every success in 2020 with both this channel and your ‘day job’ ;) Suggestions for something in 2020? Hmm, tough one. Maybe another journey - one that traces the path of the image and sound at ‘capture’ to how they are handled all the way through to delivery. There are a lot of ways things can go south, even after capturing the perfect take, and a lot of filmmakers early in their craft may benefit from your experience in just how to make sure what you capture on set or location makes it through to the release copy in pristine condition. Cheers, and all the best!
