Any% versus glitchless runners in a nutshell
@ZombiesWerePeopleToo4 жыл бұрын
Imagine you have this racing game that you love, but your position at the end of the race wasn’t just based on your driving speed but also how good you were at a turn-based battle minigame that popped up during the race. Sure, you still have the driving that you love, and if you’re not bothered about taking first place you can just skip the battle minigame, but to compete at the top level you can’t just focus on the bits of the game you find fun. That’s why any% speedrunners sometimes hate new glitch discoveries when they fundamentally change how the game is played. Classic%/no major glitches categories are no different to competitive smash bros players disabling items.

Editing and narration was on point! I liked how you did transitions and how you showed the tricks being done. Definitely do keep taking sponsors, you did the section well and it was in the beginning of the video so it wasn't annoying. I also really appreciate the timestamps. Only thing I can think of to criticize right now is the transition between Jak II All Missions and Jak 3. The music part/montage thing was great and I think that should've been the first thing you show. I think you could've been fine without the "lets find out" part, but yeah the transition itself from "found good use of the hover" and "Now it's time to take a look at Jak 3" felt kind of awkward. Tried to give you helpful feedback, because I really do want to see you succeed, though my criticism there might be just me desperately trying to find "flaws" from the video and nitpicking. I still hope you got *something* out of it. Looking forward to the next video!
