The concept of petrified wood is so cool. We've never made it to the petrified forest, but it seems like a surreal landscape. So cool! 😊

It is such a neat place. Hopefully, you'll get to visit soon!

This is the second of your videos that I have viewed. Another kudo for well done. You must be in communications because not only are the videos well constructed, but you clearly have a smooth broadcaster type voice. This really helps me to plan my visit for October. Thumbs up!

I am glad to have found this video. I randomly decided to take a vacation this November at the Holbrook KOA site and go to this national park. Definitely gonna rewatch this video while planning my itinerary for the 4 days I am there.

Thank you for a beautiful video. We have been debating for a while whether or not we should bother with this park, now thanks to you, we are going! Just wondering though, does your gf (wife?) ever take videos of you??

Very informative, appreciated the suggested time it takes for each stop and the history included! Curious about the two kinds of weather in the video- if you stated when you went I missed it but I would like to know for prep... We will be going Feb or March. Where can I get weather info for places like this?
@LiveThatAdventure2 жыл бұрын
We are glad that you enjoyed the video. We have attached an article to this video that has approximate weather for the different times of the year. These are just averages, but hopefully, they will help with your planning. You can also do a quick search on weather.com to see if there is any snow in the forecast. We went in March and were luck out with an unscheduled snowstorm.

Thank you for this video. I'm passing through petrified forest with a travel trailer. Do you know if there is anywhere to pull off big enough to park while sightseeing? Thanx
@LiveThatAdventure2 жыл бұрын
Hey! I believe that there are some spots where you might be able to park. It probably depends on the size of your trailer. I bet they could give you a better idea of all the places that you can go if you call the park. :)

Hi guys So what are your top 3 hikes you shouldn't miss for a one day visit thanks you have great videos
@LiveThatAdventure5 күн бұрын
Blue Mesa and Blue Forest are the top 2. Then Long Logs and Agate House or Crystal Forest would be the third. I think we like Long Logs a bit better than Crystal Forest!! We have videos for all those hikes if you need some references. Have a great time! 😊

Could you believe it: the Devil's Tower, Mount Roraima in Venesuela, and all the great rocky plateaus on our planet are petrified tree trunks from millions years ago...
@charliebanta7534 Жыл бұрын
The Devils tower is formed by magma. And the rest are not tree trunks either.

No, I can't believe it. 😂

Those trees are clearly bucked up. I dont buy the rising of the ground.
