I am speaking as someone who was largely desensitized to this kind of stuff way too early, but it’s not that bad. So yeah, do your research people. It literally has a red triangle demon on the cover. Read literally the first few pages and you’ll see immediately if it’s for you or not.

As a 15 year old Christian Gravity Falls fan who pretty much first watched the show in 2012 when I was 3, I am honestly happy that my dad who got the Book of Bill for me didn't think that it was satanic as he knows that the book is about a cartoon character therefore the book is fictional. Also when he gave me the book in the car my 12 year old brother was around and he said something like the book is definitely not for him and he should be at least 13 to read it. I do come from the UK but I really have that there are some American parents who actually had common sense as well.

OKAY so the sweetmomof7 review seems to be legit. Her previous reviews are all public and goes back to 2016. I believe that mom burning the book was genuine. I grew up in an insanely conservative household, but my friend somehow managed to give me "Captain Underpants" book as a birthday gift. When my mom found it, she blamed it on my bad grades because I was "imitating the characters" (I actually had undiagnosed ADHD) and she tore those books in front of me. I still remember it so well, it was definitely one of the worst days of my life, because I loved that book so much! I couldn't read anything fun as a child. As a strong Christian, my thoughts on this book are similar to my thoughts on journal #3 and Gravity Falls as a whole: It is not meant for everyone. As I said on the other video, Gravity Falls is for people who are mature enough to distinguish between real and fictional. I noticed that the people in the book shared many similarities to real-life people who had real-life experiences with demons and the occult. It is true that GF, the journal, and the BoB have demonic elements to them. However, they are never presented in a positive light -- at least, not from the perspective of anyone who had to deal with the demon. The humans who met Bill all had the exact same reaction as the humans who have actually met demons: they were enamored for a short time with the promise of power beyond the limits of our mortal realm. But all too soon, they found out that this power came at a price, a price so high that they made it their entire life's purpose to kill the demon. The demon's response is to torment each person for life because they didn't give him what he wanted. The only way to stop the torture in the book was to completely sever the connection between themselves and Bill. Within the scope of the show, this was known as "erasing Bill from existence." In the real world, it is known as "developing a personal relationship with the demons' master, Jesus Christ." Real life demons fear Jesus because they know their ultimate fate at His hands. And as Christians, we have power over those same demons because we have Jesus. I would argue that, while some parents should keep GF and the BoB away from their kids, others should read it WITH their kids, explaining how Bill is fictional, but elements of the experience with him are real. It all depends on the kids' maturity levels.

As a christian, the first review is flawed. You can still read this book and enjoy it whilst believing in god. This book wasn’t gonna convert me to ciphertology or anything like that lol. Good video though!
