Jerard, I doubt you'll see this, but the reason Yuna ends up in a girl band is very much an "evolution of japanese culture" thing. See, originally there were women called "Miko" they'd maintain shrines and stuff, but their primary use was to "Make people happy, and allow spirits to move on, using the art of dance". Yes, they were spiritualists who would do spiritual dances and rituals in order to help the dead pass on, and help people get over grief. Sound familiar to a certain character we know? Now, in modern day japan, that role still very much exists in the "Idol Scene". Idols are very much seen as just modern day miko, just like the modern japanese workforce is considered the modern japanese "samurai". A lot of people here in the west don't understand idol culture, and why it's so important in japan, well it's almost spiritual in a sense. It's these people who are always supposed to look like they're having fun and being silly, being happy, and dancing/singing, so other people can look at them and feel happy while going through their dreary lives. This is why Yuna evolves from essentially a Miko to an Idol. Thank you for reading, whoever cares.

@@TheDarkAngel969 Sorry, I'm a month late on this, but basically in japanese business the same way failure wasn't an option to Samurai, it's the same for businessmen. So many of them are SO tied to their work and it's SO important to them, that they'll commit suicide if they make a big enough mistake, just as the samurai of the past did. It's part of the reason suicide rates are so high in japan.

Controllers should be 1) Accurate: I did a thing that reflects on screen. 2) Responsive: I did a thing that timely reflects on screen. 3) Ergonomic: I not tired or sore from handling the controller for an hour. Not to mention the fact that most were legendary or pseudo-legendary with incredibly high stats and the *ridiculous* number of resistances they have and being resisted by only one type. Steel-types at least have several weaknesses that balance their resistances out. Plus, Steel- and Poison-types were underutilized (especially Poison) and needed a new type to balance it out. The only one I disagree with making weak to Fairy was the Dark-type, and only because Spiritomb and Sableye were already balanced by having subpar stats and movesets, and it was an otherwise underpowered type.

@@UltimateGamerCC Dracovish, Kingdra, and Palkia (also Reshiram, Kyurem, Dialga, Mega Charizard X, and the list goes on, and on, and on, but they do have other weaknesses) want to have a word with you. Besides that, the average base stat total for dragons is 625 with an average speed of 92, and every single one of them can learn moves in Fighting, Fire, Rock, or a combination of them, which makes Ice, which have a lower average base stat total of 519 with a pitiful 77 average speed and no resistance to dragons, a fairly weak counter. Garchomp's 4x weakness to Ice-type moves is not effective when it can destroy the Ice-type before it can attack. Oh, and one more thing: many dragons can also learn Steel-type moves, which are super-effective against both Ice- and Fairy-types. If you think that Ice-types are a good counter to Dragon-types, then you suck at using dragons.

9:30 so I have a hilarious story for this one. I adore this story. So when Tony Hawk Ride was coming out before release I went to the Xgames with my father. And they had a station set up showing it off and letting people get a test and give some feedback. I had a bad feeling about it the second I saw the skateboard. And the second I started using it I knew this thing was crap. When it was my turn to give feedback. I remember exactly what I said “this games gonna bomb. The controls are incredibly unresponsive and the sensors barely work because of how small they are. You better add an option to use a normal controller or you’re just gonna throw money out the window.” My dad tried to say that it wasn’t my place. And the person who was taking feedback said the equivalent of, what do you know you’re just a kid we’re a company we know better. It felt so good to have my dad come by my room after a week of having the game out looking at reviews and saying. “Damn. You may be a smart ass but you were right”

Concerning the slime controller's stickyness, I've had that happen a few times with some of the madcats and other not-first-party controllers in the past as well as with other plastic shelled tools and items. You can fix it and it's actually fairly easy. Use a mixture of baking soda and water to get a paste consistency with a soft cloth, scrubbing for about 15 minutes or so, and the stickyness will be gone. Usually stays gone too unless the plastic is just rather degraded or poorly made, at which point I've found adding a little bit of goo-gone to the baking soda-water paste will usually fix and keep the sticky away.

Don’t remember any mention of motion control and there definitely wasn’t a cord to pull for “startup”. But I do remember that the natural way to comfortably hold it meant the D-pad was at 90 degrees so left became up, etc. To have the D-Pad with the correct orientation, you had to hold the controller in the most awkward way. And it was bulky and not well-balanced like a normal controller, making it exhausting to hold for long periods, associated with a game you expect to play for up to 2 hours at a time. It wasn’t long before the normal gamepad was plugged back in.

I used to have the Chainsaw controller. The Gamecube one. Craziest thing is where I got it. It was at a mall, on the clearance table set-up outside of a Spencer's Gifts. Yeah, that shop famous for novelty vibrators and fart spray had the Chainsaw controller marked at CLEARANCE. Go figure. Sadly I don't have it anymore, I sold it in my famous video game purge to afford food phase, but I'm glad to see it made the list.

Remember that Pokemon typing game that came out for the DS in I think only America and Europe that came with this like tiny keyboard you could plug in that worked with literally nothing else, not even the online chat app? Like, I understand that some games come with and need specific controllers. But this was barely a controller; it was just a standard-ass keyboard that plugged into the headphone jack.

I recommend Grand Poo Bear's gameplay of Mario 3 with the power gloves.

This is literally the first time I knew that the gamecube could be played online...

I have not laughed at a video as much as this one in quite some time. I was absolutely dying during the Slime controller.

Surprised Wii U gamepad didn't make the list. Even though I didn't mind it

I honestly expected the N64 controller to make an appearance here but after seeing the video I understand all of your decisions. I am also extremely jealous that you now have the Resident Evil 4 chainsaw controller.

Funnily, I was seriously considering jumping into gaming reviews with a focus on accessibility for the vision-impaired, so it made me really happy to hear you say that you feel like any type of person should be able to play any kind of game.

I thought you were gonna say the slime controller was broken or something; I was so caught off guard when you said it was sticky I lost it. Idk why but it made me laugh harder than I have in a while

As a fellow owner of the PS2 slime controller, can confirm any amount of moisture causes the surface to get weirdly sticky. There's a more recent one for PS4 (and maybe a switch one I'm not sure) that I haven't had any issues with yet

I remember getting that skateboard for Christmas. Exchanged it the next day for another bc it didn’t work, second one didn’t work either. Worst childhood memory ever xD

Same thing happened to my PS2 Slime controller. They originally had a rubberized matte finish, but like a lot of technology at the time, the finish was made in a way that the rubber coating lost its elasticity and retracted into sticky globs of bad rubber. A similar thing happened to my Kodak Zi6 pocket camcorder.

The best thing about the DQ Slime controller is that they didn't make that "mistake" once, but thrice! There is not only the PS2 one, but also a PS4 and even a Switch one!

*1:* Oooh, I like the production values on this one. *2:* NGL, I don't know whether the plastic on that Slime Controller just went funny after so long, or if it was legit intended to be sticky for brownie points. And that uncertainty is terrifying. *3:* Thing is, I feel like lowering and redistributing the weight on Yuna's Tiny Bee guns would help out a bunch, as would properly labelling the buttons. Hell, you could probably have well-made gun controllers for a VR set-up, if you did them just right. Though admittedly, they'd work better for a light gun game than an RPG. Unless of course you're playing a gunslinger-style spinoff as that sweet boy Prompto. "Oh hi there... OPENING!"
