I've never been a TT fan myself but I gotta admit that 5cyl motor is a damn sexy, and I'm impressed the stock trans can handle that power. The sound puts me in mind of those crazy Group B Sport Quattros of the 1980s. A very evocative sound.

@@Jamenj1999 That's not even remotely true. The EA855 engine in the TTRS is not even slightly related to Audi's older 5-cyl engines. The EA855 is related to VW's 07K engine, which is part of the same engine families as most of VW's 4-cyl, V6, V8, and V10 engines that have been used in the 2000's. Such as the 2.0t used in the last several generations of GTI, and Audi A4. Also the 4.2L V8 used in many Audis in the past decade. Also the V10 that Lamborghini has been using in the Gallardo/Huracan is part of this engine family too. No relation at all to Audi's older 5-cyl engines in the Sport Quattro.

There are loads of other tuned cars, 335is, M3s, M5s, RS6s, E63s, Supras, Evos etc. tuned to circa 1000bhp that will match this cars performance and still work as daily drivers. It's not that unique really. As I said it's primarily just a matter of where you want to spend the money.

it's really not any faster it's just setup for drag racing better you could get a naked bike to do the same time without adding power and just modifying suspension and the swingarm as well as an air shifter etc

What I can't STAND is that with the crack and pops rage going I never get to hear the descending exhaust note EVER. Maybe that is why I love the sound of the Evora 400. I am not going to lie though this car is about perfect and blends several tastes into one car. The motor is just amazing in the sound department and everything else.

@@briansaxon Kick ass car man. I'm a sucker for fast Audis and blue cars especially this shade of blue. I doubt you plan to do CCB on the rear if they even offer them but do you plan on 2 piece rotors or some kind of rear brake upgrade to shed some more rotational mass? Because isn't 3 to 1 meaning 7lbs of rotational is equal to 21lbs or there about? Because going to a drag pack or lighter wheels on 2 of my current vehicles was worth 3 and 5 tenths usually in much hotter weather before and after.
