The part I don't get is why she's not the biggest superstar on the PLANET, she just delivers performance after performance, her consistency with every song she takes on, how she delivers the emotion of the song, she is the master craftswoman, people keep coming up with comments like, I don't know her, she's not famous, they all seem to think if your famous your the best, this is the greatest example as to why famous isn't the BEST, she hadn't got the backing of the big corporations, she had a chance with capital records and connections with Rhett Lawrence Mariah Carey's producer, but by all accounts it was all about what he wanted and not what she wanted, she is a woman of great integrity and very strong character, she will do it her way or not at all, she's had to adopt a different strategy, and hasn't she done a brilliant job at doing it 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

I'd just loved your Mori reaction Nick. You've pointed out the "build up", which is as signature Morissette in all her performances as her voice cracks! She always set you up, like a Le Mans race car doing tire warm ups. Slowly she would step on the gas till she hits that straights with all the turbo boost culminating in that finale, at which point you didn't realized that you had your mouth open. There is a reason why she's been tapped to do interpretations of songs, because of this ability to convey emotion. If you remembered the 2nd Asian Song Fest she did Korean and English on their folk song. I asked my Korean co-worker if he understood she was singing and he said to me: I've never thought somebody can sing it like that, let alone someone who is not Korean! This is why we enjoyed following her through the years!
