I've had it happen to me on ladder, but it was my opponent that pulled out Millhouse after he played Rafaam. I had Antonidas since turn 4, I think, so all I had to do is play him, a spell and then just fuck my opponent up. Otherwise I would've lost. So bad manners like that against a mage player is a bad idea

Regis seems to forget Power Overwhelming existed with Sergeant Sally... thats a 4 mana, deal 5 to the opponents board. There was a control warlock deck at the time that a few people went to legend with that included her for that reason. I used that deck and it worked well.

@@stevethebarbarian9876 Shows how clueless he is saying rush isn't an effect, probably stuck at rank 20 on ladder because the difference between crowley and boogeymonster it's like comparing a bow and arrow to a pistol. Darius has seen competitive play, boogeymonster is a horrible version of linecracker because it has basically no combo potential and again gruul is just better because it gets +2/+2 before it even attacks and has higher base stats. Gruul is only really played when you've played a monkey effect and that's it.

To be fair, Millhouse also had a very small spotlight in the early time of the game when one of the best decks was zoo warlock with only two 0 mana cost soulfires for spells. I ran it out of pure spite to zoo.

Honestly, there's a few tools out there that synergize with Sergeant Sally. Power Overwhelming for warlock, rogue had a couple cards to give it poisonous (just shiv or backstab it to perform the board wipe), Hunter has I think it was called Goblin Prank, which is similar to PO except it gave rush as well? There's definitely some tools for Sally, but maybe not enough at the time to make her memorable.

EtherealG The point is that Sargeant Sally has a legitimate use, the only reason she wasn't popular was because Warlock had so many board clears already, meaning that she was outclassed rather than bad, so she shouldn't have been on the list. She saw fringe play in a tier 1 deck, that's more than can be said about the majority of legendary minions which saw no play outside joke decks or maybe not even there, so why is she on the top 10 worst list?

I think that why freeze shaman and moorabi sucked so much was because I think that the original Thrall was super OP and had some sort of crazy freeze effect (look at that art, very freeze shaman-y). That explains why moorabi was 6 six mana, it wouldn’t be able to be played along with Thrall at 5 mana and his hypothetical OP battlecry.

The Loka Boka The problem with him is that your opponent can hit your face, he takes the damage, and he's dead. Unless your opponent is dumb and starts trading their minions into him instead of dealing the damage for free.

I present to you: Big Aviana Druid, the Duskfallen version turn 6: Blatant Decoy turn 7: somehow kill the Blatant Decoy, which summons Duskfallen Aviana play an Oondasta for 0 mana (don't attack yet) play Start Aligner for 7 mana, do 7 damage to his board and face overkill with Oondasta to pull something big like an Amani War Bear or even The Beast you now have a big board and you can win the game until your opponent plays Twisting Nether for 0 mana and you lose.

A big poisonous minion has an even more boring effect than boogeymonster i would argue. edit; not to mention it was recently powercreeped... on a common card.

Yes I agree with you. Maexxna has been powercreeped multiple times by common cards (the 5 mana 2/5 from frozen throne and the 1/5 with taunt from kobolds). Other cards that should have been on this list are rend blackhand and maybe prince malchezaar. 6 mana morrigan and Sargent sally are definitely not bottom 10.

@@vestingjeans6245 Can't have malchezaar on there, just because it was legitimately the best card in arena for a time since the lategame bombs it tended to give you were highliy effective in a format like arena. Stalled fatigue as well, can kind of think of it as the original archivist elysiana albeit 5 cards instead of 10. Rend blackhand saw play and was legitimately good against some decks because most decks have legendary minions and blowing them up while developing an 8/4 was a good move and far less narrow then hemet just getting beasts.

If Temporus was available in Paladin, Paladin would run it, because they can use it with Time Out to negate all face damage in both turns, and because if they aren't at turn 10 yet or don't draw the Time Out, it is still a dragon in hand for cards that care.

Milhouse as much as I am aware could be played with another card to reduce it's downsite a lot. I never played this game (except one time on friends phone just to check the game out, but it's way too costly for me to really start playing), just watched a lot from quite early on when few early expansions came out, so I don't remember the name of that card, but it was a 5 drop which increased the cost of all spells for your oponent by 5 next turn. That made any 6 cost or more costly spells unplayable, and anything less... just not worth playing unless there were no other options. That being said, getting +2/+1 of stats (well, actually closer to +2/+0 if we consider that the other card was slightly understated, but not by much) and having a downside of setting cost of all spells for enemy to 5... isn't exactly a game winning combo, and would still cripple you if oponent have any more costly spells in hand.

Although I don't recall the name of that 5 drop from naxx, paladin does have the same effect as a spell for 2 Mana, and there's always the give yourself immune until your next turn effect. But it usually does not work out since you are paying quite a bit to offset such a penalty.

There is actually one snall good thing about Millhouse Manastorm. In the Solo-Adventure Dalaran Heist, there is an Encounter with his wife, Mallificent. If you Play five Millhouse Manastorms in one turn against her, she is defeated instantly.

I may be wrong, but I remember seeing Sergeant Sally in quite a few decks back when she was still in Standard. I thought I saw her in some Tier 1 decks as well. She was especially useful for classes that lacked 1+ damage AoE removal, and was often used in conjunction with Abusive Sergeant (back when Abusive Sergeant was still a 2/1). In terms of rating, I would mostly be fine with drafting Sergeant Sally in Arena, would take into consideration as a Discover option, and would only be less than pleased as a summon/evolution. So, personally, I would not call her a "bad" card. Bad Cards I'm surprised that weren't on this list: *Anomalus* (Think Sergeant Sally, but all Minions and more expensive) *The Darkness* (It was used as a Tech Card and its Reward is good, but consistency is bad and worse as an evolution) *Hireek the Bat* (8 mana 1/1 that requires hand buffs to be good) *Nat Pagle* (50% chance to be 2 mana do nothing) *Zayle Shadow Cloak* (Difficult to judge, but unlike Whizbang almost never is mentioned/praised) *The Voraxx* (Lots of theory craft, but never saw ANY real play)

Nothing in my HS career has ever been as soul-crushing as dusting Aviana to craft something, then her immediately being the next Legendary opened. Never dust your trash legendaries boys. The insurance is more than worth it.

I think Moorabi has great potential. In my opinion, only life and damage need to be slightly increased. But I think it's a pretty good card. And as he says "Chill mon!" :)

Agreed, hi'reek is honestly just plain horrible. I'm only really happy to see hi'reek when my opponent evolves a 7 drop into hi'reek then I chuckle. Too hard to make the card work consistently.

@scientist formerly known as rick Well it is difficult but you can definitely do it you discount enough,but it so satisfying when you do it,you become a boss basically,and if also play archbishop you are pretty much guaranteed to win.

I would still argue Millhouse is better than Majordomo or Duskfallen because when it comes off of Piloted Shredder or Silvermoon portal it's one of the best cards you can get from it.

Duskfallen Aviana is 100% worse than Millhouse. Millhouse at LEAST is the best evolve target for Shamans 1 drops. Getting Millhouse off evolve or such is 10/10 amazing. Duskfallen Aviana is always awful.

Dr. Morgan (pure trash), Boogeymonster (good in Hs Bg only with Tirion), Selly (Warlock handbuff), Celestia (worst garbage ever), Moorabi (free dust), Hemet (his Ungoro's brother way better), Majordomos (combo warlock with Treachery or old quest Priest before you play Amara for 40HP Rag), Temporus (I had it, disenchant), DUSTfallen Aviana (never had it, no need it anyway), Millhouse (good Bg hero, worst card in normal Hs).

I don't think Milhouse is the worst because you can just not play Milhouse. Aviana can kill you because you randomly spawn her with something, a random Milhouse won't kill you

To this day, Duskfallen Aviana is still the only Golden legendary card I've ever gotten by pure "luck"
