You ever provided independent contractors to a company . . ? [example: house cleaning independent contractors ( where the worker get 60% of the job and the company gets 40%)] What would you charge for that? It’s per job not a set rate.
@BenNader3 жыл бұрын
Yup absolutely it's about 20% of my deals, the rest are all direct placement.

What happens if the person you place does not last the probation period of say ... three months (standard in Australia) but the company has already paid you because you billed them in the first two weeks, and also if you are unable to find someone else suitable to fill the role? Would you then have to pay all the money back? Thanks for the videos bro, much appreciated. 👍🏼

@BenNader5 жыл бұрын
Hey Terry, if you look back I've done a few videos about the process but in bits and pieces because the whole entire process is a cluster of about 10 elements all together, but aside from that, I have plans upcoming to do some specific videos on posting job ads, talking to candidates, coaching candidates, interviewing candidates and closing them with the client to get them hired etc. Those things will be coming out for sure. This is definitely chess not checkers so I'm going to be adding more and more.

@BenNader3 жыл бұрын
You don’t generally offer strong guarantees or any guarantees with flat rate, and rule #1 of recruiting is we never do refunds we only replace up to 1 time max!

@@kaylasmith9459 you can educate them that they’ll be saving time and money by having you handle the recruiting for them (you need to learn to be an expert) in order to prove to them that you can find better candidates, faster than they can on their own. What about companies that contract and they don't take out taxes.
These are HOT, they make good money and they're not easy to find, (good one's) which makes it an easy way to charge 18% or 20% on them and make some good dough.

Ben... so today companys are looking to get into a profit sharing model for a company or individual to do life cycle recruiting. I have been stumpped on this type of model because I think it takes risk off the table for the client and have not seen this type model before and is mind boogling to me. Have you seen this before or setup a model like this?
@BenNader2 жыл бұрын
I've heard about it, totally sucks, corporate recruiting sucks, it's stupid corporate anything sucks, go free solo, don't touch deals that involve profit sharing B.S etc. that's my answer

should a start up business go into the tech niche with no experience? Or should they grind it out in the general labor space until they get a feel for the recruiting world?

General labor is just fine, I usually encourage people to go general until they settle into a niche.

@@BenNader okay ok. Could you obtain a government contract with a staffing agency business or that doesn’t exist?
@BenNader3 жыл бұрын
@@chrisbeckham9802 You most definitely can. You need to get on some lists and some certifications, it's a really solid space, if you can't get into the government contracting/staffing space to bid on contracts. You'll need to have insurance, payroll, funding, workers comp setup but yes you can do government.

@@BenNader thank you 🙏🏾. so you would have to be an more than 1 employee business to abstain such contracts from the government in that field? So an Llc single employee staffing agency won’t be able to obtain one or am I understanding you wrong?

Hey Ben when it comes to a recruiter getting paid for a direct hire placement, does the employer/client take the annual percentage fee out of the candidates annual salary... or does the client/ company just pay that percentage out to the recruiter without the candidate taking a financial lose🤔

Hey! Thanks for sharing this information. Just to understand you are processing payroll yourself? That’s CRAZY! I’ve been in HR/payroll for almost a decade and find that very intriguing!
@BenNader5 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for checking me out! So yea, I have contract workers that work "for me" but they work at warehouses and other places and I pay them, but the company pays me. I also have direct hires I make which just pay me a fee when I find them the right hire. It's incredibly common place and easy to do your own payroll this day and age, and about 1000+ systems to do it on, ADP, PAYCHEX, GUSTO, they're all software programs that connect to your own business bank account and run payroll to your w2 employees, pretty straightforward, so yup running payroll yourself is incredibly common/easy for a recruiting agency hiring contractors.
@1208Lindsey5 жыл бұрын
Ben Nader kudos to you! You’re doing a lot over there. Lol I’ve done payroll the last 6yrs in my previous 9-5 and I’ve never been a fan. I’ve used about 8 different platforms and it’s all the same for the most part. I’m not ready to go there yet, but if and when the time comes, I think that would be a great conversation to have.
@BenNader5 жыл бұрын
There are platforms out there today that make it beyond easy. It's foolproof once it is all setup and you have employees in the system its just push button easy.
