A very, very good selection of British & Irish Blues and Blues Rock. I would humbly add a few suggestions for further investigation: The Graham Bond Organisation (Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker came from this band), The Keef Hartley Band (John Mayall's former drummer), Them (Van Morrison's original Belfast band), The Spencer Davis Group (launched Steve Winwood), The Blues Band (Manfred Mann veterans go back to their roots in 1980, and kept making albums up yo the 2010s), Dr. Feelgood (The Kings of Pub Rock in the 1970s, who accidentally gave birth to Punk in Britain), Nine Below Zero (another popular Blues revival band of the later 1970s, who made a lot of albums).

Blues Incorporated and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers were the ones who laid the foundations of the British Blues scene in the 1960s. Musicians such as Charlie Watts, Jack Bruce and Long John Baldry passed through the former, whilst the Bluesbreakers produced Eric Clapton, Peter Green and Mick Taylor. The Yardbirds then sprung up, with Clapton, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck all passing through; then we get Cream, the Rolling Stones, Ten Years After and many more.

In an interview with the BBC to commemorate 60 years of the Rolling Stones, Jagger described the Stones as an "everything" band; that is, they are not confined to blues, soul, reggae, pop, jazz (in Charlie's case) etc. and that they were only described as a blues band because back in the early Sixties, one had to be a "blues band" to get a gig. That may all be true, but the at heart of the Rolling Stones is the blues. Didn't Mick and Keith run into each other at Dartford railway station with Keith carrying an armful of blues LPs? Didn't the Stones record an album of blues covers in 2016?
